Tim Tebow recently split with girlfriend Olivia Culpo — a former Miss USA model — and the reason is said to be the former Broncos quarterback’s abstinence pledge.
Yes, that’s right, folks. You now live in a culture where a girl doesn’t want a man who respects her enough to wait until he is ready to commit to her, faithfully for life, and not just use her body for his own personal pleasure.
Sports media, as you might expect, had a field day mocking Tebow and his desire to please God with his sexuality.

Tim Tebow’s relationship with former Miss USA model Olivia Culpa is over. Because, according to reports, Culpo is upset that the couple isn’t having sex, since Tebow has decided to remain abstinent until marriage.
First up is the New York Daily News, who ran with this ultra-original header:
“Tim Tebow still can’t find the end zone as girlfriend Olivia Culpo breaks it off over lack of sexâ€
Followed-up by this quip:
“For once, it’s not Tim Tebow who’s having trouble scoring – it’s his girlfriend.â€
At the risk of being graphic here, the report wasn’t that Tebow “can’t find the end zone,†the problem was that Tebow would not enter the end zone. Nor, was he having “trouble scoring.†He chose not to score.
CBS continued the yuck-fest with this gem:
“Apparently an NFL job isn’t the only thing Tim Tebow can’t hold onto.

This is a sad testament to just how morally bankrupt our society has become, when a man does something honorable like saving himself for his future bride, makes him a laughingstock.
Although I’d have to say the mockery says far more about the lack of character possessed by journalists in the media than it does anything else.
Tebow is a good man who loves Jesus and is dedicated to his faith. I hope other young men look to his example here and follow in his footsteps.
She probably got with him to get him to break his beliefs. I wouldn’t be surprised to find out some day she was encouraged to do so.
Sports media are anti-sports and pro-left-agenda.
I remember a few years ago when Tebow moved to NY from Denver, some on the anti-Christian left were offering rewards to whoever could corrupt him. They all failed.
This young man is a godsend.

This whole discussion is more than I need or want to know. Let them do what ever they want, and don’t tell me about it.

In my single days I tried to only date Christian church-going girls. i got rather discouraged at how many had different definitions of “Christianity”. Some swore like sailors, some drank like sailors, some wanted sex like sailors, some said everything short of actual intercourse was okay in their book....
all you can do is give em a chance to show their true colors.

I respect his faith. I respect his choices and decisions based on his faith.

So if he wants to pretend he’s a woman, we should accept his delusion without question. If he parks his member in the rear end of some linebacker, that’s his business and it’s beautiful. But if he values a woman and loves the Lord, he’s a maroon. Got it.

Apparently, Tebow wasn’t the one who thought talking to the media would be a good idea.
However, in terms of the talks parents give their kids about abstinence, this has some usefulness. He doesn’t have a surprise baby on the way, a surprise disease, or a surprise extremely broken heart.
That kind of apparent promiscuity probably means STDs, especially in this day and time. He should just be thankful and say good riddance.
Maybe she can hook up with Charlie Sheen? I hear he’s available and a sexual dynamo.
Apparently, this “lady” has made it known she initiated another young male celebrity (a boy bander, IIRC).
Maybe she saw TT as another notch in her belt.
