"If you're a Christian, stand up."
With those words, a God-hating gunman began a systematic killing at a community college in a rural Oregon logging town. By the time it was over, 10 people were dead, including the shooter, and nine others were horribly injured.
According to reports from at least one of the survivors, the shooter ordered students to stand up and state if they were Christians. "And they would stand up, and he (the shooter) said, 'Good. Because you're a Christian, you're going to see God in just about one second," the victim's father told a media outlet.
Other reports said those who said they were Christians were shot in the head, and those who said no or did not respond were shot in the leg.
Within five hours of the shooting, the president of the United States stood up and passionately pleaded for stricter gun control laws, saying, "Our thoughts and prayers are not enough."

Praise the lord, pass the ammo.
We recently visited the Billy Graham Library/Museum (it was free!)
One of Franklin Graham’s ministry mobile trucks.....The Rapid Response Team....was in the parking lot, they might have been encouraging folks to volunteer...(which I’ve thought about doing)
These trucks are waiting and ready for any disaster....
They show up with water, hot meals, helping hands.
Franklin Graham is the real deal.....and I know his heart is grieved.
It’s what’s every response to a shooting by liberals. More gun laws. We have enough “Gun Free Zone” signs already.
The problem is that this kind of warped mentality of “follow the narrative” has invaded the church. We have downplayed the Bible because of its inconvenience and replaced it with popular societal narratives. The Bible is no longer the “Word of God” but rather “a window through which we see God’s attributes”. That gets us past the way the Bible disagrees with popular societal behavior.
It was also happening 2000 years ago with Balaam and Jezebel according to Revelation 2
heck, if I was making $ 800,000 a year I’d be the “real deal” as well ...
I knew you just couldn’t resist.......sad, very sad when you try to smear his good name.
I don’t know why you do this.....it must be personal.
.
how can I be smearing Rev. Franklin Graham’s “good name” when “he” is the one cashing those bi-weekly salary checks for $ 800,000 per year ?
I’m just stating a fact ... if you’re uncomfortable with the “fact”, just give Franklin a call, and may (just maybe) he’ll have a few milli-seconds to ‘splain it to you ...
“good luck” with that ...
.
What would you deem an appropriate salary for Franklin Graham to be?
$ 150,000 annually, after all, he’s occasionally outspoken (in a good way) .... and Rev. Billy Graham is his daddy ...
of course, ALL of his travel expenses, radio and TV spots, and printing of his “literature” are all paid by his “religious corporation” ... hence, free to him ...
If it's already a gun-free zone, what more can be done?
I’ve understood that his current salary was determined by looking at average salaries at similar charities. While it’s a lot of money, it’s not out of line for the position he holds.
Maybe if you were the "real deal" you'd be making $800,000 per year.
.
clearly, as the Wisconsin union thugs say, “great work if you can get it” ...
also clearly, Rev. Franklin Graham would be making a measely $ 65,865 a year in (pastoring some hillbilly church in North Louisiana) ...
... if his daddy’s last name was “Johnson” ...
.
.
having worked in aerospace defense companies for 30 years, I can guarantee you that any “Division Manager” has a tougher job .. and doesn’t make over $ 250,000 a year ...
Rev. Franklin Graham should be grateful for a $ 150,000 annual salary ...
and is, quite frankly, extremely overpaid (as he knows) because of his daddy’s last name ...
some folks would call that shameful ...
I certainly do ...
.
You’re slandering a good man and a good charitable organization in Samaritan’s Purse. It’s you who should be ashamed.
I guess we’ll just have to disagree ...
Perfect.
