Catholics do not want the world to be one religion

Every Christian should want the world to be one religion — followers of Christ; obviously that's not going to happen or the Holy Spirit would not have inspired the book of Revelation. It's just that, unlike a certain other religion that wants a one-world religion, true Christianity does not want to force anyone to believe. It's no good to God if conversion isn't a true seeking in the heart of the individual.

Where the rub comes in is that non-Catholics, correctly, I believe, perceive that the Catholic Church believes it is the only true Christian faith. I have no argument with that; what other position is logical in human terms? The RCC has not convinced me and many other non-RCC Christians, but I respect their position.

He always got a laugh when that was included in the sermon. And he was an Assemblies of God pastor. It was quite outside what they preach but he meant it.
