Those who cannot live with this are welcome to post elsewhere.
Sorry — I can’t reply as I don’t want to be “bashing” Catholics.
My issue is with what Rome teaches — not the people.

I for one, am fine with the daily anti-Protestantism threads on FR - mainly by three FRomans.
Persecution is something Christ told us to expect and to rejoice when it happens. I will. I do. If they feel compelled to attack incessantly, it shows the insecurity underlying their claims.
Why be a thin-skinned whiner when someone has a different world-view than we do?
It is sad that some feel the differences are not significant in God’s eyes. The differences however cannot be discussed without vitriol, so the differences will not be discussed at Freerepublic.

I can say things all day long and cut and paste from the catechism and people don’t respond they don’t want the truth but then people will hear something from someone claiming to be catholic that stars something completely false and people grab onto it and confront me with it

So Jesus (the Word) was absent from the OT? A Christian is a believer in Christ, how was OT Abraham saved, or the prophets? The entire Bible is about Christ.

Yes, there are many predictions about Christ in the Old Testament. Read Matthew — he has the most references since he was writing for the Jews.
