Watch the video. It says it all.
AMEN, second it.
It is time to realize that those who put their faith in Jesus the Savior, regardless of what church they go to will come more and more under attack.
Got to remember that more and more those of us who believe in Jesus, regardless of what church we attend, will come under attack, and it does not have to be violent physical attack, but just even verbal or digital abuse as well.
I hear ya, Brother: I definitely HEAR ya!!!
"One indeed is the universal Church of the faithful, outside which no one at all is saved, in which the priest himself is the sacrifice, Jesus Christ, whose body and blood are truly contained in the sacrament of the altar under the species of bread and wine; the bread (changed) into His body by the divine power of transubstantiation, and the wine into the blood, so that to accomplish the mystery of unity we ourselves receive from His (nature) what He Himself received from ours." Pope Innocent III and Lateran Council IV (A.D. 1215)
Therefore, if anyone says that it is not by the institution of Christ the lord himself (that is to say, by divine law) that blessed Peter should have perpetual successors in the primacy over the whole Church; or that the Roman Pontiff is not the successor of blessed Peter in this primacy: let him be anathema. Vatican 1, Ses. 4, Cp. 1
Is there a difference?
Indeed.
Good one, Salvation. Thanks.
“But we also believe that for others to view church as Cause”
What in the world would make you think that others view church as Cause?
Behavior and doctrine
You’re right! Pleases don’t misunderstand, I do think being forced to bake a cake celebrating what you know is a sin is persecution, just not anywhere near the level happening in the Middle East. And you’re also right it won’t matter what church we attend, that’s my whole point. Our enemies could care less, they just murder “the people of the cross.” You still have people who argue on this site that Catholics aren’t Christian, Baptist aren’t Christian, etc. Well the enemy sees all of us as Christians because, we are! We are, “people of the Cross! “ We better start acting like it, come together as Christ wanted and prayed for, so we can defeat our enemy with God’s help.
I was looking for something else and this was on the right column so clicked on it.
Wow!
This is probably true for a lot of youth as well as their parents.
Good job. It is true and great for self examination - young and old.
“Behavior and doctrine”
That’s odd; I’ve never seen anybody do that. To whom do you refer?
Fish never notice water.
“Fish never notice water.”
And no one ever sees another man’s delusion.
That was oblique and opaque.
The arrogance of some churches is a sight to behold. I think if, say, the Roman church wants to get hissy about Evangelicals, it might make up with the Orthodox first so it knows something about what uniting means....
“I think if, say, the Roman church wants to get hissy about Evangelicals”
Show me where that has happened.
“That was oblique and opaque.”
It means that if a person is in the grip of a delusion, he shouldn’t expect other people to perceive it too.
Do Catholics rely on faith alone in Jesus alone or do they need to "merit" with their own deeds? If they have to "merit" with their own deeds Jesus may indeed allow them to "merit" or not "merit" on their own.
