A good and holy man, an outstanding archbishop and cardinal, Francis Cardinal George had the unenviable task of cleaning up the mess left by Joseph Cardinal Bernardin and of stabilizing what was left of the Chicago Archdiocese. In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, amen.
