Archbishop Fulton Sheen once wrote: There are not over a hundred people in the United State who hate the Roman Catholic Church; there are millions, however, who hate what they wrongly believe to be the Catholic Church.
I was one of those who hated because of what I wrongly believed about the Catholic Church. The reason I had these beliefs was due to being told what to believe about the Catholic Church from those who were told what to believe about the Catholic Church. No one was willing to find out what the bottom line was concerning the Catholic Church. Everything said about the Church was taken as truth while it seemed no one was delving into what the truth really was.
What about these Catholics? They worshipped Mary. They had a religion but not a relationship with Jesus Christ. They said they believed in God but really their belief couldnt be the same, could it? The Bible says in James 2:19 KJV Thou believest that there is one God; Thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
So do Catholics have a belief such as the devils? When most Catholics are asked if they have been born again or have accepted Christ as their Savior, their main response is I believe in God or I am a good person, or Im Catholic. Also, they have all these rituals, Saints, Statues and what about the Pope is he really standing in for God? Another big item, are they cannibals when they eat the bread and drink the wine during communion? Why do they leave Jesus on the cross, dont they realize Jesus has risen from the dead?

Go back and read most of the things you have written, that is all the evidence required.
Galatians 1:8 But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God's curse!
How is that one twisted?
Deuteronomy 12:23 Only be sure that thou eat not the blood:
Who twists that to justify Jesus sinning by eating blood?
Sounds like the first inning of a peeing contest. No thanks. Ample exhibits were given in previous replies. READ THEM.
Goodbye.
I’ve watched some of those. Every one contradicts what scripture teaches in one form or another. Attributing the sin of eating blood to Jesus and the apostles stands out in every one.
“It most certainly is in there. It’s in there 34 times.”
No. None of the examples you posted refer to the Bible.
Revelation 22:18 refers to the Book of Revelation only. This is well known to anyone who has actually researched it.
Luke 4:17 Refers to the Book of Isaiah only, not the Bible.
Revelation 13:8 refers to the Book of Life, not the Bible.
Thanks for proving my point.
Do you burn fish hearts and walk through the smoke to chase demons away? It's in the Catholic Bible. Or do you "pick and choose what written words to follow"? How about that it's a disgrace to have a daughter? It's in the Catholic Bible.
“It’s used 34 times in scripture still you claim to be right?”
I am most definitely right - as I just proved with your own examples. Thanks.
Fixed it for you.
“To come, however, to the PRESENT,do people in the MSM age know anything of the Bible?”
Some do, some don’t. That’s the way it has always been.
So now you speak for everyone on FR? Wow! Well, I've got news for you. Hubris like that is always wrong. I appreciate her input.
The Bible says, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28) Tyndale was fearless in the face of Roman tyranny. Rome eventually had him strangled, burned, and blown up, but they could never touch his soul and he knew that.
I happen to have started Dr. Steven Lawson’s new book on Tyndale only a few days ago. At the Ligonier Conference less than two weeks ago, I sat through Dr. Lawson’s lecture on Tyndale (linked below for one and all to see). I have great admiration for this giant martyr for Christ. He gave his life so that the average Englishman could have a Bible they could read and understand and in the process he changed the world. Under Rome, Britain was so wicked, the light of truth so dim, that in 1519 seven Lollards were burned at the stake for the “crime” of teaching their children to say the Lord’s prayer in English. Fat lot of good saying it in Latin would have done them don’t you think?
I pray you will eventually see Rome for what she is and has been in history. Your blind faith in an institution is dangerous for your soul. It would be helpful if you would watch this video by two former Catholics, including a former priest, and listen to the sermon I have linked below which explains the gospel.

Message 19, OPTIONAL SESSION: The Daring Mission of William Tyndale
“In this session, Dr. Steven J. Lawson traces the daring mission of William Tyndale, who was used by God to ignite the English Reformation, which ultimately cost Tyndale his life.”

“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
That has to be about the weakest argument I've seen on this board in a while.
How does that scroll taste? Any rivers of water flowing from your belly? How does never getting hungry or thirsty work out for you?
>>While the word Bible may not be in the Bible<<
The word is found in scripture 34 times. Now you want to twist what was said?
I’m convinced that the progressive liberals have their origins in the Catholic Church.
It is your move.
Prooftexting.
Already done up thread.
No, with all due respect to Steelfish, it only shows some ignorance on his/her part. Catholics do not benefit from saying things such as “born again nonsensical stuff”. Having said that, as NKP_Vet has pointed out in another post, Christ also mentioned the need to be born of water (as well as Spirit) and most who speak of being “born again” believe that water baptism is not necessary for salvation.
