Popular American evangelist Joel Osteen is promoting the warrior mentality among Christians, telling them not to be weighed down by their problems because all things are possible with Christ.
"If you'll have this warrior mentality and do what you can do, God will help you do what you cannot do. Remember, God has armed you with strength for every battle. Keep praying, keep believing, keep pressing through because with God, you will tap into strength you didn't know you had!" he said.

Through one man.
So if your ancestors did something wrong, you’re tainted with evil and you need to be held accountable for their actions? Does that make sense?
Ogod, separated at birth?
Are they both psycho crazy?
...says the apostate who can’t be bothered with preaching the Bible.
Romans 5:12: Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned—
There are of course modern parallels.
You are born in the US, that is your birthright. You get certain benefits and privileges that those born in other countries don’t have.
So you believe in collective guilt?
I believe in original sin.
Should be easy enough for you to disprove me. The wages of sin is death. Show me someone walking the face of the earth who is, oh, say 1000 years old. 500. 250. They haven’t sinned. Otherwise we are all guilty.
IOW, you believe in collective guilt.
“If you’ll have this warrior mentality and do what you can do, God will help you do what you cannot do. Remember, God has armed you with strength for every battle. Keep praying, keep believing, keep pressing through because with God, you will tap into strength you didn’t know you had!”
“With God, all things are possible.”
I believe what Scripture teaches. If you choose to call it collective guilt, have at it.
I just love how that verse is wretched out of context. Probably only second to Judge not yet ye be judged. The two verses everyone likes to misquote.
OK, then do you accept the following?
"Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father in Heaven is perfect."
"Of myself I do nothing; it is the Father within who doeth the work."
"The things that I have done ye also shall do, and greater than these shall ye do."
Lets not change the subject. Do you not believe in original sin? Why?
Not mine. Many of us are armed.

Any reason I should pay attention to that?
“There’s more to him than you think, Jerry.”
“No, there’s less.” /seinfeld
Yeah he says that every five minutes. Nothing packs a megachurch like saying that to people. /s
Did you read the whole thing? ;-)
