I heard Tim Staples tell about his journey yesterday. It was very similar to what Anders went through. They were both deeply anguished that they were unable to prove that Catholic teaching was in error. Tim talked about how he would over and again say to himself “I am NOT Catholic” until he could no longer deny it.

Quote - deeply anguished that they were unable to prove that Catholic teaching was in error.

Christmas, good Friday and easter Sunday are roman catholic errors..

Paul’s gospel had no good Friday or easter sunday- it had passover, unleavened bread and first fruits- all found in scripture..

Maybe these converts didn’t prove all things by accepting the roman gospel to start with.. sort of like accepting a false premise..

Protestants and Roman catholics battling each other over Rome’s version..
Rome has the advantage..

Protestants can say sola acriptura but Sunday, December 25, good friday and easter Sunday are all roman, not scriptural..

And those are not just roman ‘truths and givens’ but christian givens for most.

It wasn’t until I was willing to test those givens and prove all things did I realize what my faith was in, was a clever Roman counterfeit..and I was never a member of the Roman catholic church..

I met Him as the Roman Jesus but He didn’t let me stay there..

And that journey is one of unlearning.. something those stuck in the Catholic vs. Protestants choice will never see..

Maybe they are on the same losing side.. and neither will win because their ‘faith’ is in the same false teachinga that lead to a different gospel and different Jesus..

Absolutely. Anyone claiming to be an honest theologian must accept the curse and evil of of Protestantism. What renowned essay Hillaire Belloc said is so true. That unlike other heresies, Protestantism “spawned a cluster of heresies.” As a result many Bible Christians are stuck in the shallow end of the theological pool, and some resist swimming in the deep end, and many who try swimming in the deep end to support their beliefs, drown. It’s simply over their heads. When well-known Protestant theologians tell us why they ditched their Protestantism, Bible Christians are psychologically trapped and compartmentalized from following their reasoning. I doubt very few read the entire article by Dr. Anders. Others like Joel Osteen and the Billy Grahams won’t hear of the evidence esince their family fortunes are built on the nonsense they preach.

The proof is all over the scriptures...

These guys didn't learn enough scriptures to get grounded in their faith...And they are dishonest...They knowingly add to the scriptures and delete scriptures and then try to justify your religion with those perverted scriptures...

There are millions upon millions of people who have, can and do prove your religion is in error thru the scriptures who can show you why and where these guys are wrong...

If you really want the truth, get a bible and listen to Staples and Adrian Rodgers at the same time...Compare what they claim with the scriptures...

Richard of Laurence: Mary, in fine, is the mistress of heaven; for there she commands as she wills, and ADMITS whom she wills.

Guerric: …he who serves Mary and for whom she intercedes, is as CERTAIN of heaven as if he were already there…and those who DO NOT serve Mary will NOT BE SAVED.

Anselm: It suffices, O Lady, that thou willest it, and our SALVATION is certain.

Antoninus: …souls protected by Mary, and on which she casts her eyes, are NECESSARILY JUSTIFIED AND SAVED.
