MOSCOW, January 18 (Sputnik) The Patriotic Europeans against the Islamification of the West (PEGIDA) cancelled its anti-Islam and anti-immigration rally in the German city of Dresden scheduled for Monday after one of its leaders allegedly received a death threat from the Islamic State.
"Please, dont come tomorrow to Dresden, friends," the group said in a post on its official Facebook page. "Unfortunately we must cancel our 13th meeting due to security concerns. According to the police, there is a specific threat against a member of the organizing team," the group explained.
PEGIDA claimed that the threat was issued by the Islamic State, a brutal Sunni group that established a caliphate on lands in Iraq and Syria under its control.

Islam 1 PEGIDA 0.
Were they expecting no "incoming"?
aaaaaaand yet in Texas...good ol gun toting Texas...mussie slime was met with resistance! HUGE difference.
I see them making a bigger statement to the sheeple by cancelling the event. (And make it a “spontaneous” march next week).
Come to the rally heavily armed. Easy to get guns in Germany, right?/s
setup snipers along the route for protection anyone wearing a mask of any kind gets capped.
That’s how the bearded savages get their way: by terrorizing normal people.
NEVER BACK DOWN.
MOHAMMED WAS A CHILD RAPIST.
And no one in or out of gubmint goes all Voltaire about it? How odd. /s
If you are going to oppose the march of Islam over your culture how can you stop when the muslims do what you are protesting against?
Kind of reminds me of elected Republicans.
This report may be misleading. What I read in the German press said that the authorities (who grant permits for all public demonstrations) did not allow this to go through tomorrow, due to the threats. NOT PEGIDA chickening out! Of course, they could appeal to a court for an injunction, as is usually done when a permit is not granted.
leaders allegedly received a death threat from the Islamic State.
Even more reason to have the march. Just show those bastards that you can’t be bullied.
