These were the chilling words German journalist Jürgen Todenhöfer heard from an Islamic State militant during his recent, stunning visit behind those “front lines,” in Iraq and Syria.
The militant was himself a German, one of hundreds of sympathizers joining the Islamic State’s ranks from Europe and the United States.
Todenhöfer, 74, who has been reporting from war zones for 50 years, got into the IS-controlled cities of Raqqa and Deir Ezzor in Syria, as well as Mosul in Iraq, according to reports on CNN and The Independent.

Once within Isis territory, Todenhöfer said his strongest impression was “that Isis is much stronger than we think here,” He said it now has “dimensions larger than the UK,” and is supported by “an almost ecstatic enthusiasm that I have never encountered in any other warzone.”
Isis’s fighters ... number around 5,000 in Mosul, and are spread so widely that were the US to bomb them all “they would have to reduce the whole of Mosul to ruins,” he said.
Todenhöfer says that this ultimately means Isis cannot be beaten by Western intervention or air strikes – despite US claims last week that they have proven effective. “With every bomb that is dropped and hits a civilian, the number of terrorists increases,” he said.

I always enjoy the twisted logic of liberals and the press.
ISIS can rape, enslave and behead wide sections of the population without any repercussions of making "anti-ISIS" terrorist. But just let one US bomb hit a civilian by mistake - well, that will cause more terrorism so we should not fight back at all.
More chilling still is one nut case went on to say,”We do not care how many die. 50 million or 150 million, We do not care.”
When talking about Europe (and the rest of the West), it is not a front lines issue. It is a Fifth Column issue.
We had boots on the ground in Vietnam, but we were fighting to lose that one too.

If ISIS is planning to kill off the RELIGION of Europe, then they will kill off Muzzies. Europe is not a nation of Christians or Jews. Europe has thrown off Christ, as has America. So if ISIS goes to Europe and starts killing, the only religion in Europe is Islam. The Muzzies are the only group practicing a religion in Europe.

Meanwhile they are mostly “cleansing” other Muslims ... which we should let them do. It keeps them busy and buys Europe time to get its act together and do a little housecleaning of its own ... if they dare ... which I doubt.
Europe for the most part has been content to sit by and let America do the heavy lifting, meanwhile importing as many Muslims as they can stuff into the continent. I’m not feeling real inclined to keep doing their dirty work. Especially as they lecture us on how enlightened and multi-cultural they are.
Europe is geographically closer and more at semi-immediate peril, assuming ISIS gets tired of killing Muslims in Muslim lands. But they don’t seem to be getting ready. I’d bet the farm that when they get in real trouble they’ll expect American to do most of the heavy lifting again, while they sit back chastise us for not having the wonderful social safety nets, long vacations, social services out the wazoo, etc., etc
Again, not feeling real inclined to help out when they won’t help themselves. We should focus more on our own borders (land sea and air) and only help the Europeans out if it is in OUR vital national interest ... not theirs.
I’m getting real sick of us being the world’s free defense force and at the same time the world’s kicking dog for everything. If they want our help, they need to have zero vacations and work long hours to pay huge sums to US to come over there and save their butts, which it’s looking more and more like at some point in the future they will need due to their own fecklessness.
I’m also not getting why we need to go over to the middle east to save some Muslims from other Muslims? NONE of them are our friends and would just as soon slit our throats as soon as they have used us to help them save their own skins from other Muslims. Look at Syraq! Same damn sectarian violence has been going on in that region for centuries and our presence there did zero to stop it.
We should be out of there and they should be out of here.

The predominant religion in Europe is atheism.
I don’t call atheism a “religion.” Because they are not worshiping anything. It is a lack of worship that they have, of anything. It is a belief system of course, but not a religion in my opinion. In religion, it is MAN’s attempt to go to God. Christianity is God coming down to man with His free offer of Grace, obtained at the Cross of Calvary. Man did this at the Tower of Babel. Man was attempting to go up to God. To do it himself. To make it a “works” religion. Sadly, many think now that you have to work to get to Jesus Christ. That is WRONG! The Scriptures are crystal clear that it is HIS free offer of Grace that gets us into Heaven. We do not have to do a single thing, except BELIEVE. Believe He was who He said He was, and to believe and accept His free offer of Grace. We don’t have to do a thing. In fact, we CANNOT do a thing to obtain His grace. Not work for it. Not work to keep it. Just BELIEVE. Atheists simple do not believe in anything. Thus, no religion. In my opinion.
properly attacked Isis wouldn’t last 6 months. We just aren’t taking them seriously enough.
