The reason for this article is to determine if the worship/veneration given to Mary by the catholic church is justified from a Biblical perspective. This will be evaluated using the Biblical standard and not mans standard.

I don’t think so.
You simply play into the hands of radical modern scholars who claim Christianity, the birth, death, burial, and resurrection, are nothing more than updated middle eastern religions.
Mary truly was pregnant with the Son of God. And there is nothing unusual or irrational about arriving at the ‘mother of God’ concept. And, as we’ve seen, it’s true in regard to her being the mother of the incarnate, 2d person of the trinity.
Nor, really, is there anything more than sentiment that explains the Assumption. It basically comes from the notion that kids really love their moms, that Jesus loved His mother, too, so given the power, He raptured her early.
It’s problem, of course, is there being no biblical basis for such a sentiment. But sentimental people come up with all kinds of notions and then incorporate them into their worship as if they’re a necessary part of the faith...all the way from altar rails to mourner’s benches to pulpits.

the Catholic church is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow.....always
But the RCC seem hesitant to confess Christ first and foremost. Many other things instead trouble the OTC, according to reports from the Vatican.
Without apparent comprehension, your sentence above just replaced Lord Jesus Christ and inserted the RCC in His place.
Just...who...would even hint at doing a thing like that? Who indeed.

If the passage is allegorical, then the plain meaning is the meaning of the allegory.

How many times must you be shown that isn't true to stop making the statement? It's called the STA school of posting: hoping that NEW lurkers will fall for it every now and then.

Can you show me anything in the Catechism that contradicts this? That says Jesus will grant an intercession from Mary contrary to the will of the Father? Can you show me anything in the history of the church or the BIBLE that states that Jesus will grant an intercession from Mary at all?

. Messiah prayed the Apostles into unity. They heard and obeyed.Catholicism screwed it up, and gave us...

At this point in my education, I see Mary as being a supporting character in the larger story. At this point in the lineage of Jesus, I see RAHAB as being a supporting character in the larger story.

...now I can see that more than a few of the current TV preachers have at least something to offer, some more than others.Oh?
And just HOW do you make THIS judgment call?
What is your STANDARD you base their messages upon?

1. Faith in the LORD Jesus Christ that he left a visible, historic, real, holy catholic apostolic church that reaches to the ends of the earth since his resurrection. FACT that the Catholics severely messed up seven churches in Asia; as recorded by JOHN.

I want to be a hiker to Emmaus more than a Berean. You might WANT this, but; like Paul who PREFERRED to be away from the body and be with the Lord; I highly doubt you'll get to have Jesus school you, unLESS you become like a Berean!
