I will point out that Catholics make the best Christians

They already are Christians. All you guys do is take away from them 60% of the gifts God gave them.

Nice changing completely the quote by leaving off the most important part (So typical of Catholic posters):
when He draws them to Himself
The point was that Catholics, when leaving their sprinkled belief system, THEN become the best Christians.

Catholicism acts like a type of purgatory---or pre-Christian---preparation area for eventually becoming a born again Christian as described by Jesus in the Bible.

A good observation.

WOW! Very well said.

One thing I have observed, and I am speaking in generalities here, is that most ex-Catholics are very bitter towards the Roman Catholic faith group. Most ex-Protestants, who have swam the Tiber, have very warm feelings towards their previous church.

Amen!

I learned all I needed to know about sin and hell and judgement in my Catholic upbringing and education. Being in an Irish Catholic family times 10 for guilt:)

So the soil of the heart was well plowed for the seed of the Gospel of Grace. Praise God!
