Another observation I came up with is that purgatory isn't a precursor to heaven...the "bottom rung" of heaven so to speak...but rather the TOP rung of hell.
Satan just has to reach up and grab one of the purgatatory dwellers by the foot and pull them down into his heated up depths-of-hell eternity.
While reminding them that he [the father of lies] gave them the place called purgatory [sucked them in again,] not God as Catholicism so erroneously teaches.
