Damage control.

How can there be damage to control? Someone doesn't believe what he preaches, "the gates of hell" yada yada yada.

As Mr. Chummy, Dolan could find consensus with Satan himself.

He missed his calling, that of the affable Irish bartender someplace.

Anxiety? Why? The Pope’s infallible, right?

Once upon a time, I had respect for this pope.
So much for papal infallibility. This one can’t even read and understand his Bible.

Cardinal Wuerl insists on giving Communion to Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, John Kerry, lesbians, gay couples, and adulterers. Cardinal Burke has proven that doing so is a mortal sin. The Pope is on Wuerl’s side.

This is known as “consensus.” Move along. Nothing to see hear.

This was, of course, RACHEAL ZOLL's interpretation of what His Holiness said.
I guess we should all roll over and say "Oh gee, thank you Ms. Zoll for interpreting the Pope's meaning for us."

Our local priests do that for us ALL THE TIME during the daily Mass homilies. And it's my read to listen to them rather than to a media troll moll (as in "gansta" moll).
We don't need any of the likes of a Ms. Zoll as an intermediary. Are you shocked? I doubt it! :o)

Attacks abound.
Jesus said they would.
We must be on the right side.

**The Rev. Tom Rosica, a Vatican press office official for English-language media, attended the American bishops’ assembly. He said an in interview that Catholic church leaders and lay people, as well as those outside the church, are reacting strongly to the Vatican meeting because they aren’t accustomed to addressing issues the way Francis advocates.

“The pope made it clear doctrine would remain untouched,” Rosica said.**
