Thank Cardinal Burke for his Vatican Service [Petition]
LifeSite News ^ | 11/8/14

Background:

On Nov. 8, the Vatican announced that Pope Francis had removed Cardinal Raymond Burke, one of the strongest pro-life and pro-family voices in the Catholic Church, from his position as the prefect of the Vatican’s Apostolic Signatura. Cardinal Burke has instead been named patron of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, a largely ceremonial role.

For the past 6 years, Cardinal Burke has served at the Vatican, after he was called there by Pope Benedict, heading up the highest court of the Catholic Church.

Among Cardinal Burke’s many actions in defense of the truths of life and family has been his courageous stance in support of canon 915, which states that ministers of communion “must” refuse the Eucharist to public and “obstinate” sinners. The cardinal himself has most frequently advocated the use of this canon in the cases of pro-abortion Catholic politicians.

Most recently, he exerted his influence during the Vatican’s Synod on the Family, publicly decrying efforts by some bishops to hijack the synod to push a radical agenda, and steering the Synod towards a more orthodox conclusion.

At least the Cardinal will be able to sleep well at night, and look at himself in the mirror in the morning.

And when the time comes, and it will come, may Cardinal Burke’s reward be great in Heaven.

Islam is a truly syncretic 'religion,' freely borrowing bits, pieces and the occasional large chunk of Judaism, Christianity, tribal beliefs, and fables. The glue to hold this pastiche together is sort of "Lord of the Flies" approach to problems; i.e., something like the abandoned inmates of an asylum for the criminally insane might devise to govern themselves mixed occasionally with ancient wisdom.

Muslims follow our Bible, both Old and New Testaments. Jesus is accepted as an earthly prophet. Abraham, Jacob, David ... these are all Muslim Fathers. Arabs claim their descent from Hagar and Ishmael through The Promise God made to Jacob. in the 7thC A.D., The Arabian peninsula had many Christians, many Jews*, and many polytheistic pagans when Muhammed started. He had caravan raiding and trading deals with all of them, eventually converting or killing them all.

A Christian monk was the first to proclaim Muhammed a Prophet. Muhammed married a wealthy Jewess and ran her caravan business. He had an Egyptian Exile, with a wife named Miriam (Mary). He even claimed to be a Jewish reformer, telling the polygamous Jews that they must limit themselves to 4 wives (unpopular, even with unlimited concubines). Not all went smoothly with Muhammed's militant missionary work. Even today pastiche Islamic 'religions' exist all over the ME: Alawites, Shiites, Druse, Sufi, Ismaili, etc. etc. etc.

But at the heart of it all, Islam is about what one would expect as a self-governing creed developed by bandits for the purpose of conquest. They use what they can find, and take what they need. Right now they find a Western Christian World of peoples whose numbers and strength have declined as the result of the loss of religion, two world wars, and birth control. They plan to take it

There will be no modern Lepanto, no lifting of the Siege of Vienna , no Battle of Tours to stop them. Instead they are greeted by foolish politicians who welcome in the seeds of western countries' destruction

why should I thank him? while archbishop, he participated in the CCHD, Obama should thank him as the CCHD donated to the community organization for which he worked.
