Will the real Joel Osteen please stand up?

Joel Osteen, Pastor of the biggest congregation in America, Lakewood Church, appears to be an Obama fan, despite the fact that Obama's agenda goes against everything true Christians believe. Those of us who are intelligent and observant were not really surprised, as we have known for a long time that Osteen's “I'm okay, you're okay” milk toast sermons are far from Bible-based and do not reflect in any way the beliefs of his father, John Osteen, who started Lakewood Church and preached the uncompromising message of Christ for multiple decades before his death in 1999. Joel Osteen, however he may have started out, is currently nothing more than a progressive in Christian's clothing.

How anyone gives money to this man living in a $10,000,000+ home is hard for me to figure.
I am a firm believer that a local church should support her minister so they can live at the same level as the average member.
Granted Osteen doesn’t get a salary from Lakewood, but he is just flaunting it in everyone’s face, IMHO.
“Prosperity Gospel” is very of this world. Jesus isn’t of this world.

The Osteen heretic is a fraud, a con artist, a thief. He preys upon the gullible. He is no different than a cheap casino on the backside of the Vegas strip.
Osteen isn’t a Christian.
Are you Jesus Jr.? Give me the name of someone pure and acceptable to you.
Osteen regularly recounts the story that he was only a TV producer until his dad died. He points people to Jesus but choses to use tactics like honey instead of vinegar.
Didn’t Jesus once say anyone who is not against us is for us?
He points people in on themselves. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

No one is "pure." But you want names? Sproul, Horton, Keller, Ferguson, The late D. James Kennedy. Graham (both of them) Is that enough?

Well, it’s hardly an opinion that JOEL Osteen is a fraud.
Or yours. Why don’t you just let go and let God...why are you so interested in stopping a man who encourages people to do their best. I find that very weird. Osteen is none of your business, and tearing down anyone (Pastor or not) is not godly, and reflects badly on you...not the one you are judging.
