------------------------------
Heavenly Father
May we remember the godly fathers and mothers that have come before us and imitate them. We give thanks for this gift as an example of their faith that had brought them through many trials and dark days.
May we give thanks for the freedoms in this country to worship You and spread the Good News of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And we plead for Your mercy and grace as we as prodigals have drifted so far from You. Give us a heart for repentance that we return to You will all our heart and spark revival in our land.
Keep all our heroes, who fight the battles on all fronts physically, morally, and spiritually. Shield them in Your special care. May Your presence dwell in them and give them strength in the power of Your Spirit.
In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen

Give thanks to the LORD,
for he is good;
his love endures forever.

Thanks, so much. A lot of very timely things to meditate upon here. God definitely used it to touch my heart and to remind me prayer is not our last resort. It is our first, last and always.

What a moving presentation today, dear NEWwoman. Amen to every word. Thank You, Sir, for godly sorrow leading to repentance.
“Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.” (2 Cor. 7)
