**Christianity does not include worshiping a goddess/matriarch, committing grotesque descerations of human remains (kissing skulls) or praying to dead humans.**
Neither do Catholics.
We honor Mary as the Mother of Jesus, true man and true God.
We respect the saints and those who have died. Only their bodies are dead. Their souls can still hear our requests to them.
We also respect the relics of the saints.
If you kneel before her statue, kiss it, burn incense before it, place a crown of flowers on it and pray before it...
You're worshiping a false goddess.
So...what do you have to say about kissing dry bones?
And then what?
Building churches out of body parts and putting them on display for people to fawn over is NOT respecting dead people.
Whatever happened to *Rest in peace*?
Desecrating the dead is abominable.
