Cardinal George: US is adopting ‘official religion’ on homosexuality that is reminiscent of sharia

In an archdiocesan newspaper column, Cardinal Francis George of Chicago said that American law has “taken upon itself the mantle of a religion and officially told its citizens what they must personally think or what ‘values’ they must personalize in order to deserve to be part of the country.”
He writes:
Since the biblical vision of what it means to be human tells us that not every friendship or love can be expressed in sexual relations, the Church’s teaching on these issues is now evidence of intolerance for what the civil law upholds and even imposes. What was once a request to live and let live has now become a demand for approval. The “ruling class,” those who shape public opinion in politics, in education, in communications, in entertainment, is using the civil law to impose its own form of morality on everyone. We are told that, even in marriage itself, there is no difference between men and women, although nature and our very bodies clearly evidence that men and women are not interchangeable at will in forming a family. Nevertheless, those who do not conform to the official religion, we are warned, place their citizenship in danger …
Swimming against the tide means limiting one’s access to positions of prestige and power in society. It means that those who choose to live by the Catholic faith will not be welcomed as political candidates to national office, will not sit on editorial boards of major newspapers, will not be at home on most university faculties, will not have successful careers as actors and entertainers. Nor will their children, who will also be suspect. Since all public institutions, no matter who owns or operates them, will be agents of the government and conform their activities to the demands of the official religion, the practice of medicine and law will become more difficult for faithful Catholics. It already means in some States that those who run businesses must conform their activities to the official religion or be fined, as Christians and Jews are fined for their religion in countries governed by Sharia law.

It is Satanic religion, pagan religion, or Luciferean religion or muslim religion being forced on us-— (since Walid said that Saudis prefer boys for sex and Afhganis have harems of boys). All homosexual cultures use boys for sex—it is why the “priest” homosexual scandal was all about boys even with men in their dorms. Pederasty is necessary for the behavior to flourish and be learned and habituated. All behaviors are learned.
The state is forcing our “Justice” System to promote Vice and vile, filthy behavior which is unconstitutional.
To try to equate sodomizing others to “Love” and a “Natural Right” from God, no less, is as evil as stating Nambla “loves” the little boys they rape.
It is unconstitutional to promote Evil or Vice in “Just” Law (stated at Nuremberg and by Justice John Marshall).
All Laws have to be “Just” and never promote Vice or evil-—and the US Justice system is based on “...the laws of nature and nature’s God”. (Lockean/Montesquieu philosophy). Montesquieu stated that government is only to promote “public virtue” always.
Basically, all Just Laws have to be in line with the Laws of Nature and the Lawgiver——and homosexuality is both unnatural (a vice) and against nature and God’s Law. It is irrational also and reduces sex into a meaningless, godless act.
“Laws that cease to be Just (virtuous), cease to be Law”. That has been the basis of our “Justice” (virtue) system since Cicero in Western societies until Marx who is irrational and believe that males and females are interchangeable. Irrational laws are unconstitutional also.

He warned about the civil authorities defining marriage 130+ years ago. To the state in the modern era, marriage can only be what judges, pols, or the voting majority think it can be at any one time.

I’ve already been “Eich’d” from one job I applied to because I belong to the wrong church and I was deemed incompatible with the company’s inclusive GLBT culture.
I am not of the Catholic religion and rituals by being of the Lutheran faith but I can empathize strongly with Cardinal George’s remarks.
This is pretty spot on. Scary what is going on. I really want to know how this minority of perverts have gained so much power? That or we must face the fact that there are more disordered people walking amongst us than we know!
I’m reminded of the katoeys in Thailand. How many of them got the hell beat out of them by a GI that thought he had picked up a nice looking girl?
The power perverts have in a society is the inverse of the power Christian morality has in that same society.

How the jackals howled when I predicted this in the 1980s.

Look up the actual number of incidents of pre-pubescent boys being molested, then compare it to the number of teen-age boys molested.
Then compare both those numbers to the same phenomena among school teachers, protestant ministers, and those not in positions of authority over children.
