KJB: The Book That Changed the World

1 ch 23:30-31
And to stand every morning to thank YHWH, and likewise at evening.31. And to offer burnt offerings to YHWH on the Sabbaths, on the New Moons, and on the set feasts, in number according to the ordinance concerning them, continually before YHWH.

2 Ch 2:4. Behold I ( Solomon) am about to build a house for the name of YHWH my Elohim, to dedicate it to him, and to burn in
Iicense of sweet spices, and for the continual showbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the Sabbath, and on the New Moons, and on the set feasts of YHWH our Elohim.

2 Ch 8:12-13 then Solomon offered burnt offerings to YHWH on the altar of YHWH, which he had built before the porch, 13 even as the duty of every day required; offering according to the commandments of Moses, on the Sabbaths, and on the New Moons, and on the set Feasts, three times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks and in the feast of tabernacles.

Ezra 3:5 and afterward, the continual burnt offering, and the offerings f the New Moons and of all the set Feasts of YHWH that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering to YHWH.

Nehemiah 10:32-33. And we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our Elohim, 33 for the show bread, and for the continual meal offering, and for the continual burnt offering, for the Sabbaths, for the New Moons, for the set feasts,

1 Sam 20:5 behold, Tomorrow is the New Moon, and I (David) hould not fail to sit with the king (Saul) at meat.

1 Sam 20:18 tomorrow is the New Moon, and you will be missed because your seat will be empty.

Psalm 81:3. Blow the trumpet at the New Moons

Isaiah 1:12-14 bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination to me; New Moons and Sabbath, the calling of assemblies. I cannot endure iniquity along with the solemn meeting. 14 Your New Moons and your appointed Feasts my soul hates; they are a trouble to me, I am weary of bearing them..

Isaiah 66:23,24. And it shall come to pass from one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says YHWH. And they shall go forth, and look upon the dead bodies of the men that have transgressed against me, for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched, and they shall be repulsive to all flesh...

Exodus 12:1,2 and YHWH spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, 2 This New Moon shall be the beginning of months, it shall be the first New Moon of the year.

Numbers 10:10 also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifice of your peace offerings, and they shall be to you a memorial before your Elohim: I am YHWH your Elohim.

Numbers 28:11. In the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to YHWH;
two young bullocks, and one ram, seven lambs of the first year without spot; 12 And three tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one bullock; and two tenth deals of flour for a meat offering, mingled with oil, for one ram; 13 And a several tenth deal of flour mingled with oil for a meat offering unto one lamb; for a burnt offering of a sweet savour, a sacrifice made by fire unto YHWH. 14 And their drink offerings shall be half an hin of wine unto a bullock, and the third part of an hin unto a ram, and a fourth part of an hin unto a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the Months of the year. 15 And one kid of the goats for a sin offering unto YHWH shall be offered , beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.

That is a sample of new moon verses in scripture..

That doesn’t include the Ezekiel verses that look to the Millennial Kingdom that I referenced in the last post that specifies New Moon, six work days and the Sabbath..

You can deny New Moons as an important day in Scripture.. the one New Moon the Messiah hasn’t fulfilled is the New Moon of the 7th month- they call it rosh hashanah today..
Scripture calls it Trumpets..there are lots of mentions of trumpets all throughout scripture, even in the last book of Scripture.

I saw the Jewish calendar this year and their Trumpets this year is going to be celebrated on an invisible moon..a dark moon. Something that would not have been done in the Messiah’s day. Or Moses’ day for that matter..

Why are they doing it this year? Because if the Jews followed scripture, they would have Yom Kippur, the ten day of the month, be in conflict with their pope appointed Sabbath! They would have two Sabbaths in a row and they have firgured out a way to avoid that situation.

And they would rather postpone or push up an appointed time so they wouldnt have two sabbath days in a row..

That is impossible with our Heavenly Father’s calendar that is shown in Scripture that is cut and dry.. was in creation, was seen in the Exodus, was seen in Israel, was seen in the Messiah’s life..

His Word is very cut and dry... and even Jews who were called to obey Him have decided their pope appointed Sabbath Yom Kippur (the most important Day they have) is going to be forced onto their regular pope appointed Sabbath by forcing Trumpets to fall on the wrong day...

The pope gregory calendar has much influence in the world of government, business and religion..

Nimrod of the original babylon would be impressed with the influence..

Ezekiel 46:1 , I will give it in the King James although one can find it in other versions as well:

EZEK 46:1 Thus saith the Lord GOD; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut The Six working days; But on the Sabbath it shall be opened, and in the DAY of the NEW MOON it shall be opened

Maybe I should have said the Day of the New Moon is day one of the month.

New Moon Day begins the months. Rosh chodesh, Head of the month. Same things..

day of the New moon- 1st day of month, Six work days, sabbath.
2nd day-work week day 1
3rd day- work week day 2
4th day-work week day 3
5th day- work week day 4
6th day-work week day 5
7th day- work week day 6
8th day- sabbath- day 7 of ‘work week’.

Those days of the new moo , according to that scripture, are treated differently than weekly Sabbaths and work days to our Sovereign. that is what the text reads.

They are not held very highly in the world today, but for a couple times.

They were special days in scripture. Trumpets blaring, markets would be closed and there were special sacrifices given on the first of the months.
Banquets were held.. there is reference to them being a sort of feast day.

It isn’t an accident they were tied to many scriptures with the word Sabbath and feasts.
People would count from the new moon to get to the feast days.. His calendar is a counting calendar, not a calculating one..

That is why we would have no real clue what day we were born on with His calendar. We would only be able to guess because it would factor in things we dont factor in today.
And to tell the truth, our birthdays are not important..
And that is why scripture tells us what day the Messiah was born. His actually sets in motion appointed times that get fulfilled in those 30 plus years He walked with us.
We have to guess His birthday on the pope calendar what day the Messiah was born and december 25 is the ‘educated guess’.. and it misses all the things He fulfilled in Torah while He walked here.

It isn’t an accident that the feasts of unleavened bread and tabernacles begin on the 15th day. It isn’t an accident males were to be circumcised on the 8th day from birth.

It isn’t an accident the first sabbath in the wilderness is on the 22nd day in the second month (exodus 16- scripture gives us that He gave them instructions on the 15th day to begin collecting the manna the next day (the 16th)
He was teaching them His calendar in addition to feeding them- He was teaching them what the Messiah would do and what will be done when the Kingdom comes..

And it took them 40 years in the wilderness.. and then we have to believe He gave them a mulligan at Jericho with the sabbath because they would have violated His Sabbath with a seven day march with the bloodiest day being the seventh day- all with His blessing..

Here is a piece of the book of jasher, chapter 88 detailing Jericho found online-
14 And it was in the second month, on the First Day of the Month (day of the New Moon), that the Lord said to Joshua, Rise up, behold I have given Jericho into thy hand with all the people thereof; and all your fighting men shall go round the city, once each day, thus shall you do for six days.

15 And the priests shall blow upon trumpets, and when you shall hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall give a great shouting, that the walls of the city shall fall down; all the people shall go up every man against his opponent.

16 And Joshua did so according to all that the Lord had commanded him.

17 And on the seventh day they went round the city seven times, and the priests blew upon trumpets.

That seventh day spoke about is the seventh day of the month, not the seventh day of the week..
It is the only time, each month, that there is seven days before the weekly Sabbath and it is because there is a counted day that isn’t a work day- and scripture like Ezekiel 46 confirms it.

And it occurs every month. It isn’t my calendar... I just try to observe it..

What screws it up is trying to meld that calendar and the pope’s calendar together. That is why postponement rules or suspension rules have been implemented by Israel.

The world’s government will probably not be changing over- the United Nations has endorsed the pope Gregory calendar it is the standard for every major power.. neither will the powers of the business world be changing.. the five day work week- it is a better deal than the six day work week..
The major religions will probably not change either. Each can have its own pope appointed sabbath day and they normally don’t mess with work and/or school schedules..

I have studied enough of it to know that the world of gvernemnt, business and religion are all comfortable with world’s timekeeping..

I would love to ask the first reformers their thoughts on a calendar, just getting up to speed when they were around, named after a pope, that would unify the world, not by the edge of the sword, but by the unassuming peaceful method of just simply telling time.
They didn’t have high opinions of the papacy 400 plus years ago. A lot of them were unashamedly using the word antichrist with the papacy.

I am not sure how many read or study prophecy, but it ticks some things off the list of things that could/would happen..
And it is so subtle that it would be scoffed at as ridiculous or harmless.

Remember the Sabbath. We can’t if we don’t know where or when it is...

Where is there a calendar that has been keep continually from the first week of creation until now?

So what exactly, is the big deal with the big focus on the calendar?

Do you think that people who don't keep your idea of what the calendar should be are saved?

Do you think that God is more pleased with them if they do?

That they are more righteous or holy?

What exactly is the point of keeping your calendar?

Colossians 2:16-17 Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ.

Romans 14:1-9 As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God. For none of us lives to himself, and none of us dies to himself. For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord's. For to this end Christ died and lived again, that he might be Lord both of the dead and of the living.

Acts 15:22-29 Then it seemed good to the apostles and the elders, with the whole church, to choose men from among them and send them to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas. They sent Judas called Barsabbas, and Silas, leading men among the brothers, with the following letter: “The brothers, both the apostles and the elders, to the brothers who are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia, greetings. Since we have heard that some persons have gone out from us and troubled you with words, unsettling your minds, although we gave them no instructions, it has seemed good to us, having come to one accord, to choose men and send them to you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul, men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. We have therefore sent Judas and Silas, who themselves will tell you the same things by word of mouth. For it has seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us to lay on you no greater burden than these requirements: that you abstain from what has been sacrificed to idols, and from blood, and from what has been strangled, and from sexual immorality. If you keep yourselves from these, you will do well. Farewell.”

The whole point is found in revelation;

Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the Saints, here are they that Keep the commandments of YHWH AND the faith of Yahshua..

Paul was an observant Sabbath keeper. He taught on that day.The Messiah did too. the first century church knew not this man Jesus.. the letter J is not even 2000 years old.
They may have known of rituals associated with holy days of December 25 and easter as there are worship practices that predate Christianity in places like Babylon that we see today..

The calendar is one piece of a very subtle counterfeit. It goes to the core of when one works, when one worships. It goes to what one believes and follows.
And scripture is not our guide for when we worship and when we work.
The Greco Roman latin world, led by the pope, sets the premise and the rules when the world lives and worships...

How can one say that? A day in scripture doesn’t end at 11:59.PM, nor start at 12:00 AM..
A year in scripture doesnt end in December or start in January.(winter)

Maybe instead of calling it the pope’s calendar, I suggest using a word the first reformers had no problem using to describe the papacy -so, we could say the world is run on the antichrist’s calendar..

The Greco roman Latin world has taken a Hebrew themed and Hebrew central book and whitewashed the Hebrew-ness out of it and turned the Messiah of Israel into a Greco roman Latin savior.

A greco roman latin savior that has a greco roman latin counterfeit birthday, greco roman latin counterfeit holy days associated with his life that fit only within the greco roman latin construct. They are not biblical. The only thing ‘biblical’ is the words and the transliterated name Jesus and even that can be shown to be a substitute on the testimony of two scripture verse witnesses.

Scripture says counterfeits would come. Pseudo Christos, pseudo prophets, pseudo teachers...
It could be people are expecting an ‘anti’ messiah to be so opposed to the real genuine that one can’t help to see it-
A study of that Greek word ‘anti’ isn’t nearly as clean as the world has it today.
A good example of that is Strategos and antistrategos- Greek words that can mean an enemy to the general without or an enemy of the general within his own ranks- even his second in command..

Considering we have scripture that confirms the antichrist can come from ‘within’ (1 John 2:19), it sort of looks like the first reformers were on the right track..

If we all worship a counterfeit, is that Truth? Someone can counterfeit some money and go to an ignorant clerk and get it redeemed for good and services at a store or place of business.

Maybe spiritual harlotry is all Christianity is in the end..
Rahab the harlot might be our best example - she had faith in who the Elohim of Israel is.. she hid the messengers just like Christianity has. and the good news is she was ‘saved’ out of her Babylon, but scripture says her and her family lived outside the camp of Israel..

If Jericho is a picture of the coming fall of Babylon, those clinging back then to Babylon were destroyed.

Maybe all of Christendom, Catholic/protestants will be all ‘saved’ and the fights over doctrine here are just silly wastes of time.

Or protestants spend too much time accepting the Antichrist’s false premise, false messiah, false holy days, false teachings as starting points and argue the fringe..

I don’t have any problem clumping Christianity, all of it, together today...Joel osteen, billy graham, the pope, etc..

If one starts with a false premise, the arguments and teachings never lead to Truth...

Only He knows in the end.. I just know that I love Him. Not the world...and I see this world as one big counterfeit.
And He has called me out of the world..
I am happy to be out of Babylon..
I certainly don’t want to be defending it when the trumpets sound...

I will do my best- if I can sum up the questions

Can you be saved or lose salvation by observing a calendar?

Salvation only comes by grace through faith...
Not of works. We are only justified by faith...

What one’s faith is ‘in’ is the ‘thing’ though. And isn’t that why the debates get so personal here?

Does one have faith and believe in The Way, The Truth and the Life?

Or does one have faith and belief in the Christian Way, the Christian Truth, and the Christian Life?

Or to break it down further-
Does one have faith or belief in the Roman Catholic Way, Roman Catholic truth or the Roman Catholic Life?
Does one have faith or belief in a Protestant Way, the Protestant Truth and the Protestant Way?
And then break down ‘Protestant’ any further and you see hundreds of ‘ways, hundreds of ‘truths’ and hundreds of life’.

Some of those different ‘faiths’ are called ‘cults’ on forum posts.. do they not all have fundamental ‘faith’?

That is why the debates are fiesty here.. people have a vested interest in their version of the way, truth and life when trying to win the debates because it verifies their faith.

I have no denomination to defend. No pastor, teacher, or priest to defend.
No cathchism, no statement of doctrine to defend. I am not a member of any church.

Not because I didn’t try to take that membership step. I really did.. and then He stopped me.. I didn’t now why then... but now, I have a pretty good idea why...
I would have been a defender of the ‘protestant’ faith from that above list.

But I took a leap of faith two years ago. I decided to trust what the Bible says and do what wasn’t in my best interest but what was in the best interest of loved ones.. with no other assurances other than what scripture gives.

And that ‘faith’ action has been absolutely rewarded. My faith wasn’t in a church.. it was in His Word..
And when I tried to find what I thought was a good church to help me grow, He allowed it. But then things became harder and harder to get to church and I really wondered why the worship day was the busiest and most hectic day of my week- it made no sense..
So I asked..and I sought... and I knocked..

And around the same time, a nice catholic gave me some rosary beads as a gift. I was a little shocked at what was in the instruction manual because it countered verse of scripture. If they have the same ‘faith’ as me, can I defend my ‘faith’?
I really studied what my ‘faith’ was in.
Why was Sunday or Saturday or anything considered holier than others?
If this Mary spirit lies in her promises, how can she point then, to Truth? Scripture says no lies are of the Truth.. what part of my ‘faith’ is inherited from my mother?

And the answers all were coming back with what I am stating here. The calendar isn’t the first piece. It has confirmed the mounting evidence that was being collected. Like a lawyer builds a case. And I don’t know any of this without Him. I don’t claim any superior intellect or knowledge of any of the scriptures. I just, for two years, been obeying them the best I can.
Stumbling through this journey., having more questions that are not yet answered. But farther along, I know I will understand why..

And He hasn’t stopped teaching me even though I have no physical church home. My worship is private and the journey has been blessed.

And yet, HalleluYah, I can still believe in the Elohim of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the finished work of His only beloved Son, Yahshua/Yeshua/Joshua/Jesus..

There is no earthly run church that I know of that would even try to observe the calendar in question. It isn’t good for job/careers or schooling either. It stands opposite what the world says is important.
But it sure makes sense for His Kingdom because the only job/career and schooling we will be involved in is serving/worship and learning all about Him..
And when I saw the Messiah’s birth, circumcision, dedication, baptism, death, burial and resurrection have specific ‘days’ on His calendar, I now say I know the Messiah as I never did before.

And we all meet the Savior as the greco roman latin Jesus. because it is the Word that testifies to Him and our bibles use the word Jesus.

And if we all stay right there, I don’t see how we can go wrong. But our faith isn’t in just that- hundreds of denominations and factions speaks to versions of truth that have been given 2000 years to come about.
One can find deductive reasoning and proof texting faith in churches everywhere..
If almost seems like we have an opinion of what we believe or have ‘faith’ in and then search for a ‘church home’ that comes closest to our beliefs..

What an egotistic way to live a life ‘by faith’

But we humans are a stiff necked people. Trying to fit Him in a box. When I realized He didn’t need me, but I needed Him, I was willing to trust Him fully..

So, your second question- How do I know the Sabbath is really the true one?
Only that His Word gives me the testimony. I never knew before what a ‘New Moon’ was.. maybe a movie title. (Was it dark full, sliver, etc).
And then I studied the moon a little... and the stars a little.. elementary stuff.
And when I saw the picture of a New Moon that is detailed in revelation 12 as a ‘vision’ in the heavens, I knew what the real New Moon was supposed to be in Scripture. And where the count begins with Scripture as our guide.

And when that one little verse spoke, it opened up the entire life of Our Messiah and Savior. And the calendar isn’t a worldly invention. It is a Kingdom concept.
It has Kingdom application that will not be fully realized until His Kingdom comes.It points to Him and His Kingdom.
And again, I know of no ‘denomination’ or faith that would be willing to scrap the world’s calendar.
One’s job/career/education is central to the world’s calendar. The more flexibility one has in job/career/schooling, the closer they could come to observing His calendar. (That would take an act of faith)

So, the last question is do I suppose it is Saturday or could it be any other day..

His Sabbath is not a set day on the world’s calendar. It is only a set day on His calendar.

Just since January 2014, when observing it, His Sabbath has fallen on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays..

But it isn’t a thing so cut and dry either..there are parts of the world that rely on other parts to spot a moon. Today, the technology is so good that the entire world could have the same head of the month but again, that would be in a Kingdom come scenario..
We are still in the rehearsal and shadow age after all..

It all is a fascinating study... it is also an incredible study if the stars are factored in, as those stars tell as much a story of Scripture as His Word does..
But what He has led me to was actually a leading me Out of the place that I was most comfortable- the world..
But I took that first step unknowingly when I said my life isn’t more important that my loved ones..I was just obeying and trusting what His Word says.. and he was Jesus to me then too..

My faith is not in a calendar. my faith is not in the sun, moon and stars... my Faith is in His finished work.. call Him whatever you want..

but I know that in the studying that He has taught me, the Jesus of Christendom (specifically set up with Roman Catholic Mother church) is not the ‘Jesus’ of His Word.

The words are exactly the same.. the deeds are too...the holy days are different. The days of birth and death are different. Not because I didn’t enjoy Christmas and easter too... I enjoyed them a lot.. but when I saw they were not genuine, I was not willing to accept them by faith..

If those are not real, what is real in the church?

is it essential to worship on those days and be called a christian? Is it essential to follow the churches and their doctrines to be called a christian? Is Sunday or Saturday in some churches so important to being a member and a part of the body of christ?

Would one be willing to abandon the church for Him? What a crazy question! It would have been nonsensical to me too, two years ago and probably sounds nuts to other believers..

But now, I know what ‘come out of her my people’ means, at least in how it relates to my life..

It is a far deeper topic than calendar. It goes to the heart to what a believer has their faith in..
The calendar is just an act of faith. Living out what scripture says to the best of our ability.
Believing scripture when it tells us what a day is, and what a month is, what a week is, and what a year is versus what the world says ... what are considered holy days to our Sovereign vs what the world considers holy..

A journey to full obedience. Or to disobedience. Knowing that we don’t do it to get saved. But because we are saved, We take pleasure in obeying His Word..Because He loves us so much and Has only the best for us..

I can tell you I haven’t had a stresfull, hectic, busy Sabbath since.. and the world gets more foreign to me every day- but the world does make complete sense if one sees it as a counterfeit.

And the sad part, I see more slavery, even in believers, to a world not set up to commemorate His awesome Creative and Redemptive Works.. not because believers are not sincere.. because I believe believers debating here, really at their heart ,are concerned about the salvation of all people..

I may be a strange one, telling people that church is enslaving them.. maybe to a faith that is ultimately in counterfeits that will not be redeemed as genuine..that would be the dirtiest trick that the enemy could pull- counterfeit the True Savior with a counterfeit that can deceive people...

I see how there is a counterfeit. I see a subtle deception... I only fully saw it because I saw His calendar. And because I too am concerned with people who believe in His Word. And I don’t put it past the enemy to try to deceive the very elect.

we are closer to the end, not the beginning., stakes are high and both sides play for keeps.

I see enough in the greco roman latin church that leads me to believe they could very well be a vessel for the other side.

There is no other church to go ‘to’.. only one to ‘come out of’ in that scenario..
