but see to it that you are not alarmed.
Such things must happen,

Heavenly Father –

We see the news as evil makes the headlines every day. Give us moral clarity and a vision of the enemy with face on all fronts. Give us wisdom and resolve to withstand the assaults – covert as well as overt.

Most of all, raise up leaders who are truly statesmen and see Your guidance in the coming generation. Bring revival to a people mired in self-centeredness and blind to the danger of complacency.

Keep all our heroes, who fight the battles on all fronts – physically, morally, and spiritually. Shield them in Your special care. May Your presence dwell in them and give them strength in the power of Your Spirit.

In Jesus Name we pray,
