My heart breaks as I write this....as I have posted before....my daughter has been fighting Heroin addiction.
Yesterday....after entering sober living....she relapsed and OD'd. The medics brought her back....but we have no idea as to what to expect when we get to her....we are flying to her side as we speak...
Please pray for our daughter...pray for us...to allow for God's will and grace to find and cover her in His healing.
“Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us, and if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have what we asked of Him.”
Praying for your dear Amanda as she struggles with this addiction — that God will spare her life and that He will give you the strength and comfort your family needs.
Amanda has my prayers. May the Lord show his love for her and for you.
Prayers sent!
Prayers up for Amanda.
Prayers up!
Just said a prayer.
The sad thing is that many teenagers are being turned on to heroin. Colorado Springs is loaded with it. Heroin can be beat but it takes everything everyone has got to keep a person away from it for as long as possible.
This worked for me.

I was furious with my daughter for subjecting two grandchildren, now 6 & 7, to marijuana exposure in utero. They now present with severe emotional disturbance & ADHD. I was continually angry with her. This prayer, which doesn’t afford one any platform for accusing others, only oneself, took away my anger.
Prayers for you all. God bless!
*ping* Please ping the prayer warriors from the ping list.
So very sorry to hear this.. many prayers up for healing for her.. and strength for you.
Oh hell.
Prayers up, good luck.
As my Dad used to say, take a steady strain... It may get rough, but stay strong and hold on to one another.
UT ping.
Get those wheels turning folks.
May God’s restoring touch be upon your family.
Praying for Amanda and for your family, PigRigger.
“It is he that giveth strength to the weary, and increaseth force and might to them that are not. You shall faint, and labour, and young men shall fall by infirmity. But they that hope in the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall take wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
May the Lord strengthen your daughter and your family. May He watch over you especially at this time of trouble.
Oh my God... have mercy. I will certainly pray; I cannot imagine a more wrenching experience for a parent.
May God bless your family.
