Heavenly Father –

As we pass the 45th Anniversary of the first Moon Walk, may our eyes be turned to the One who made the Heavens – the stars and the moon – and the earth. As insignificant as we seem in the universe, in Your infinite mercy, You are mindful of us and love us. You loves us so much that You bared Your Holy arm to redeem us and save us.

As our earth seems so troubled, may we rest that only You can give us peace. May Your unfathomable love give us a spirit of repentance. Forgive our unbelief of not trusting You. Forgive our timidity when we fear man more than we should You.

Keep all our heroes, like the first men on the moon, who had courage to overcome overwhelming obstacles. May our heroes rest that Your presence is with them – even in the remote heights and depths that their missions take them.

In Jesus Name we pray,
