Protestants don’t have unity where it counts, which is on core dogmas, such as the existence of free will for example.

The unity Christians have is in this.....

I am only pinging a bunch of others to this comment as a matter of courtesy. I don't know much about the denominational affiliation of most of them nor do I care. They are brothers and sisters in Christ, united together by faith in HIM not what church or denomination we attend.

I know it seems rather vague and nebulous, but our identity is in Christ, not the label hanging out front of the building we worship in.

If I attended a Baptist church, I would not consider myself a Baptist. I would consider myself a follower of Christ first and foremost, who happens at the moment to attend a Baptist church for preaching, teaching, fellowship, encouragement, support, etc.

My salvation is not tied to what church I attend or even the fact of attending church.

I’ve already been through this list, although admittedly not directly with you (another poster, but I did ping you when I mentioned you posted this list before. This was about a month ago now)

The Assemblies of God believe one can loose one’s salvation (they reject “Eternal Security” in other words) while the Presbyterians do not believe one can loose one’s salvation. It’s all right there in the links you provided. And clearly this too has a direct impact on one’s salvation.

Or perhaps I should repeat my question here: Like I asked about free will, do you not believe the issue of “eternal security” has an impact on one’s salvation?

Amen to that! Paul answered the question very succinctly when he answered the jailer’s question. “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved”. Any “requirements” beyond that disrespect what Christ did in His death, resurrection and ascension and risk what the statement “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” does.
