Your Kidding? You mention Sirach chapter 3 about fathers and Mothers? There are severe problems here:

Sirach 3:3 "Whoso honoureth his father maketh an atonement for his sins"

Sorry, Christ alone makes atonement for sins, and in the Old testament it was faith upon the sacrifice to be made by Abramham regarding the Lord "thou hast not spared thy only begotten son".

Is that not your understanding??

It is right to reject the book of Sirach for this severe error.
