Pray for our American Heroes

Father in heaven, we thank You for Your great kindness to us, for Your endless provision.

Lord, we pray for the men and women in our military. Be with them wherever they go, even to the valley of the shadow of death.

Father, we thank You for Meriam’s release from the prison where she was held for her faith in You. We ask You to protect Meriam, her husband and her children; bring them to a place where they can live without fear.

Your love, O LORD, reaches to the heavens, Your faithfulness to the skies. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains and Your justice like the great deep. O LORD, You preserve both man and beast. How priceless is Your unfailing love! Both high and low among men find refuge in the shadow of Your wings. They feast on the abundance of Your house; You give them drink from Your river of delights. For with You is the fountain of life, and in Your light we see light. From You, our God and Creator, overflows all life and strength and goodness and happiness; we would have none of these, if You did not have them first. We praise You in the Name of Jesus Christ, who is God forevermore, Amen.

IN THE COLDEST and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered his prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting Glory, and bestowed His Manifold Blessings upon the new Nation.

FROM THE BRAVE, albeit weary, ill-equipped, and untrained volunteers who marched into Valley Forge on 19 December 1777 arose, with the help of some gallant friends from across the waves, the cohesive fighting force that became the United States Army, global defender of Freedom and scourge of Tyrants.

AS GENERAL WASHINGTON lifted his prayers on high in that bleak Winter, let our prayers now rise like a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and gather them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

HEAVENLY FATHER, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these valiant men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. Thank you for your prayer today Irish Rose. I received a letter from my son from AIT and he specifically asked for prayer. May the LORD himself come along side him and encourage him to ask, seek, and rest in HIS FAITHFULNESS and LOVE. I ask this for him, I ask this for all the sons and daughters who are in training, I ask this for the husbands and wives separated from family and friends, may THE FAITHFULNESS of the LORD reach heights in them that bring them over and above their obstacles, fears, and anxious thoughts. May the LORD hear our prayer for the IDF as they work diligently to suppress the continuous attacks that even this day, is reaching the families in Israel. LORD, WE LIFT OUR EYES HIGH TO YOU with and in the FAITH that YOU have given to us...PERFECT and COMPLETE. IN JESUS NAME..Amen.
