When you die, your body dies. But not your soul. Your soul goes to meet Jesus Christ, perfect justice, who will send you one way or the other.
The saints in heaven hear our prayers and pray for us.
Even here on earth, did you ever call someone and have them say, “Oh, I was just thinking about you!”
Jesus hears our prayers, pray as he did.
If you insist on praying to Saints, just pray to me, I’m a saint. It might be easier just to phone though, I’m not Omni present, only God is.
what happens in the physical in no way translates to Gods Heavenly Realm. I'm lost on where the Bible...even your NASB says Saints intercede, having the ability to pray for us
.....and this is where you (Catholics) lose people - you have to admit there are some extra-Biblical behaviors going on, no?
In a rigid sense, having these earthly intercessors, chosen by our hand, diminish the role of Christ in intercessory matters and begins to erode the Triune nature of the Godhead....and we've not even touch on Mary's intercessory works.
that said - Ive pinged the others you pinged as well- my apologies if its an intrusion, please ignore if that's the case
absolutely - now show me where it happens in the Bible on a spritual plane
The saints in heaven hear our prayers and pray for us.
show me where it happens in the Bible
there is no intercessor except Christ Himself
