And what it did was beat me, but it didnt draw me, entice me, or lure me by playing upon some deep, latent psychosis or desire on my part for something Protestantism just couldnt provide. Catholicism went from being so obviously ridiculous that it wasnt even worth bothering to oppose, to being something whose claims were so audacious that I couldnt help opposing them. But what it never was, was attractive, and in many ways it still isnt. Thanks for the admission.
OTOH, JESUS is very attractive. And HE doesn't beat one up. He draws and leads and guides, in gentleness. His yoke is easy and His burden light.
He came to set us free, not drag us into bondage but beating us into submission.

Every person here who believes in Truth should ask himself why someone would post a quote without posting the most important sentence which explains the rest of the quote. Gee, what would be the motive of such a person?
