FOXBOROUGH, Mass. The father of Texas Senator Ted Cruz delivered a speech on the Constitution in Massachusetts this past week, where he also discussed the biblical guidelines for voting.
Rafael Cruz, the 74-year-old North Texas pastor and director of Purifying Fire Ministries, was the featured speaker on Friday at a Foxborough dinner hosted by radio personality Jeff Kuhner. He gave a one-hour presentation to those gathered.
[T]he Bible talks a lot about politics, he said. As a matter of fact, did you know that the Bible tells you exactly who to vote for? Very, very clearly the Bible tells you who to vote for. Let me prove it to you.

We can't vote for the lesser of two evils anymore unless we don't care what God says. We do so at our peril.
Do your best to get the right people in there but focus on making it politically profitable for the wrong people to do the right thing. You do that by treating elections as a treaty with a potential enemy: trust as long as you verify and proving your readiness by THROWING THE BUMS OUT when they do the wrong thing by not keeping government and taxes small.
Jesus wasn’t, and wouldn’t be, a Republican but the Bible sure as hell condemns 98% of the Democratic agenda.
You are called, however, to oppose evil in whatever form and time you find it.
You know your duty and evil is everywhere.
When his son becomes President in 2017, Governor Abbott should look no further as to whom to appoint to his seat... his father.
Do justice love mercy and walk humbly with God.
Reverend Cruz is correct, that is why a Christian cannot vote libertarian, and needs to support candidates who support the bible values and conservatism.
Must mean Ecclesiastes 10:2.
The God of Israel said, the Rock of Israel spake to me, He that ruleth over men must be just, ruling in the fear of God
So many of today's leaders do not fear God or his judgement....
The apple does not fall far from the tree. Senator Ted Cruz for president.
Cardinal O’Malley says we have to give Communion to pro-abortion politicians because “the bishops can’t appear to be picking on one party.”
Which means that Catholics need to keep voting for pro-abortion politicians, because Catholic voters must not appear to be picking on one party.
So, because Cardinal O’Malley was brought up Democrat, more millions of babies have to die.
And this abortion of a human intellect is what the Pope has chosen as his most trusted adviser on American matters.
The U.S. is not going to get ANY help from the Pope in our fight to maintain our freedom. I think this Pope agrees with Obama and most of the American bishops: America needs to be punished, weakened, and invaded.
Fish out of the RIGHT side of the boat.
Add me to your ping list, if you would. Thanks in advance.
The way I've heard it put before;
God is not a Republican.
However, Satan is a Democrat. 8^')
That said, there at least used to be some of the elected Democrats who were not so entirely yielded to the stealthy spiritual darkness which prowls and devours, while there have been also always a few of the "Republican" sort who were among those whom Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) termed "America's only native criminal class".
But instead of occasionally producing Statesmen who used to be more "to the right" than today's weak-kneed Republicans (who occasionally kneecap Tea Party types) nowadays there are the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid as leadership.
Have you ever tried having a rational conversation regarding politics with lefty-liberal Democrat- plantation voting serfs? They are quick to say "Both parties are the same!" which is true in part...but only in part, with that "in part" become smaller (thanks to the Tea Party sorts by-and-large).
But those same persons who so loudly proclaim that it's "all one party" whenever one of the Democrats is shown to be scumbag-beyond-further denial of that fact, will still always turn out and vote dhimmi.
Where is the conservative or centrist wing of the Democrat Party?
Gone the way of dodo birds --->and now as common as Unicorns who crap rainbow-colored skittles.
They presently exist only in the past, and fantasy realm. Or else they have to be "on the down low" as if they were criminals.
Amen

I voted for the lessor evil last election and I realize that there are critics of the lessor evil saying that it is still evil, I guess that may be their excuse for voting for the worse evil or just not going to the polls.
I have hopes that since we have candidates such as Cruz and a few others that we might actually get one of them on the ballot in 2016.
But I had that same hope last election and it did not happen because this God loving and freedom loving nation of so called Christians turned up their noses at the best ones, they selected the ones who could put on the best act.
At any rate we need to face up to it, would a good man even stand as much chance of winning as the ones who lost?
Would Ronald Reagan have a chance of winning an election today?
Ronald Reagan would do great today, and just because someone doesn’t vote for your guy, doesn’t mean they aren’t voting, or are voting democrat.
Romney dominated two election cycles and kept out quality challengers, in 2006 between letting it be known that he was going to buy the primary with partly his own fortune, and then using some creative, public fundraising stunts to lock up some big money, he killed the 2008 cycle, and then naturally was the dominant money force in 2012, again scaring off quality challengers.
Ronald Reagan would mop up today, he was an incredible politician and candidate.
Yes, Romney kept out quality challengers but why? could it be because socialism is becoming an American ideal?
Some of the other candidates had much the same view as did Reagan but they never got off to a good start.
The only reason we have Obama as president is because the American people showed their love for socialism at the polls.
” America needs to be punished, weakened, and invaded.”
No, rather America needs to have Christian missionaries come and bring the good news of the Gospel of Jesus to them once again.
Pray for the CONVERSION of ALL to Christ, including each one of us.
