Protestantism gave us abortion, artificial contraception, living together without being married, sexual promiscuity, not calling sin sin, as in homosexual “marriage”. Not one of these things have ever been taught in the Catholic Church. For the last fifty years, starting in the radical 60s, with the bra burners and “free love” mentality of the drug crazed “if it feels good do it” movement, protestantism has poisoned the Catholic Church, and needs to be weeded out before it gets any worse.

Nope, sin brought those about, and since many, many Catholics engage in the same behavior, how do you justify such a blatant load of untruth?

I’m Catholic but yo dude, the war between Prods and Catholics is long over.
To post Prods introduced all those deviant things is blasphemy of their religion.

Unfortunately, all of those items you list as having been given by Protestants, existed before Protestantism or Catholicism were around. Read the Old Testament and you’ll see that.

And secularism is rebellion against Christianity in general.

And not one of those things was created by any Protestant church.

There are Catholics who do those things too. There are liberal Catholics just as there are liberal Protestants. Let’s agree that liberals of any church are tools of Satan and are an infection in the body of Christ as long as they place their politics as the primary focus of their life.

So if the reformation never happened.... Those things would have not appeared in our culture....?

I guess the USA would be a Catholic theocracy ?

Okey dokey....

Protestantism gave us abortion,

While only one member of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court was Catholic, they voted for death for babies. Furthermore, just in the last couple of years, outright pro-abortion politicians have been invited to speak at prominent Catholic churches, despite early and outright warnings given to bishops by pro-lifers

artificial contraception,

That's been around since the days of the Pharaohs, if not earlier... Also, I have to correct Catholics all the time on the dangers of birth control, because not only do they not hear the dangers when at Mass, but they're outright TOLD by family members who are priests that "it's OK"...

living together without being married,

(Ditto)

sexual promiscuity,

Hello! Have you ever read the Bible?!? (You're Catholic, so probably not...) Both the Old and New Testament are full of people getting in trouble because they can't keep their sex organs under control!

not calling sin sin, as in homosexual “marriage”.

The cast of Duck Dynasty has put their butts on the line 1000X more than the Pope - or his designated hitter on this situation, one Bishop Salvatore J. Cordileone. And the Pope JUST con-celebrated a Mass with an "out" priest, who ALSO teaches that it's unreasonable for gays to give up sex!

Not one of these things have ever been taught in the Catholic Church.

I've seen each of these things pushed by prominent Catholics outside of Church, and despite repeated urgings by me and others to address them in a less cowardly way, the Church remains deathly silent on ALL these issues.

No, FRiend.

Protestantism didn’t give ANY of that.

Those things are all based in humanity’s sinful nature and people now knowing/not caring about God’s Word and the Love of Christ and His sacrifice.

The vile nature of unGodly man is the cause of those abominations you mention: not protestantism.

Most of the time, I think you post some well thought out ideas. This one, however, is not one of them. I cannot buy it.

Are you speaking about France? Italy? Ireland? Central and/or South America?

Many Protestants reject those seeds and fruits of the culture of death too. Please don’t lump all Protestants with the liberal, heterodox, mainstream Protestant denominations which embraced these evils. Even many members of those denominations are heartbroken about how their churches have rejected the clear teaching of Scripture on these things.

That is an obnoxious lie straight out of the pit of hell.

Christ is not honored or pleased by this type of behavior.

Many “Protestants” are pro-abortion.

Many “Catholics” are pro-abortion.

Your argument is, to be direct, stupid.

Follow Christ, and to hell with your pro-denominational evangelism. Preach Christ, not your denomination. Draw people to Jesus, not to Mary or your priest or to your parish.

Yup, all those leftist, Democrat politicians...Pelosi, the Kennedy’s, Biden, etc who support abortion, etc are protestants? NOT!

So what say you? It is your Catholic Democrats that support all those things. It has nothing to do with Protestantism.

(And btw I am not a Protestant).

You left out what secular entertainment, education, psychology, and atheistic science have done. All of those were uncritically embraced by Bible-rejecting Protestant churches like the Episcopalians, Presbyterian USA, and liberal Lutherans and Methodists, etc., as well as the Catholic Church. Bible-believing churches alone rightfully warned that they were antichrist and would poison hearts and minds if not looked at through the eyes of Christ, but the mainline Protestants and Catholics followed the world and regarded Christians who applied God’s Word to these things as the “Church ladies” mocked by Saturday Night Live. Culture produces society and the people in it, and an antichrist culture will produce people incapable of truly grasping their sin and its offense to God, exactly what we have now.

No, they're just practiced by Catholics and the church, including the clergy.

Talk is cheap. When Catholics and their clergy start living what they're preaching, they might get an audience and have people take them seriously.

Until then, it's all fluff.

Pope Stephen VI (896–897), who had his predecessor Pope Formosus exhumed, tried, de-fingered, briefly reburied, and thrown in the Tiber.[1]

Pope John XII (955–964), who gave land to a mistress, murdered several people, and was killed by a man who caught him in bed with his wife.

Pope Benedict IX (1032–1044, 1045, 1047–1048), who "sold" the Papacy

Pope Boniface VIII (1294–1303), who is lampooned in Dante's Divine Comedy

Pope Urban VI (1378–1389), who complained that he did not hear enough screaming when Cardinals who had conspired against him were tortured.[2]

Pope Alexander VI (1492–1503), a Borgia, who was guilty of nepotism and whose unattended corpse swelled until it could barely fit in a coffin.[3]

Pope Leo X (1513–1521), a spendthrift member of the Medici family who once spent 1/7 of his predecessors' reserves on a single ceremony[4]

Pope Clement VII (1523–1534), also a Medici, whose power-politicking with France, Spain, and Germany got Rome sacked.

Wrong down to the sub-atomic level. How about proof instead of such a broad brush?
