I posted the ENTIRE chapter; yet you manage to dismiss it as meaning something else.
This highly qualified statement might be true; but the NY was WRITTEN in Greek.
You are vastly deluded!
Nope...
In 'favor' of following the LAW that he had already.
Then why add the rest?
And that phrase and those requirements are found exactly where in Scripture? Where did Jesus or any of the disciples list them?
The man’s wealth was his barrier, so Yeshua told him to get rid of it, much like he told others to pluck out their offending eye, etc.
Following the Law is what Yeshua told him to do, as that is the sole path to eventual righteousness. Following Torah is the faith that ultimately leads to salvation at the last trump. That is the way to “go and sin no more.” Sin is defined as the transgression of Torah, and nothing else. (1John)
The wealth was his personal problem, but it wasn’t for others, such as Nicodemus, and Joseph of Aramethea.
We’ll get you there yet!
I trust that you meant “NT,” not “NY?”
Any way it was first given In the language of those that preached it, and wrote it. The Greek came later.
I have posted the very solid elements of proof of this many times here.
The one that is deluded is the one that believes that Yeshua gave a commandment to get rid of wealth. (that is not me)
Many of Yeshua’s followers were wealthy, and were not told to rid themselves of it. It was just that particular young man that was too enamored of his wealth.
In discussion of Acts 15, you have constantly reversed its meaning by cutting snippets at convenient places.
Try to get this, it is of the utmost importance to the understanding of most of the NT.
“The works of the Law” is the Judaic nonsense, not Torah.
“What they heard” from the apostles was Torah, every time.
Torah is of Yehova, not “of the flesh.” The Pharisee’s Takanot and Ma’asim are “of the flesh.”

“No part of Gods word was originally given in Greek”
Please prove your silly claim. I look forward to the staggering evidence that will support your universal statement: “no part”.
Is this what Rood has taught you? Or is this a result of your personal historical, linguistic and archeological research?

The Hebrew Roots Movement (HRM) is, in the final analysis, yet another attack on Scripture, analogous to the many "restorationist" cults that have gone before. Such groups always begin with discrediting the Scriptures universally accepted by Christians as the word of God. In this process they all resemble each other, though the method of attack used by Islam is strikingly similar to the attack used by the HRM. The idea is that the originals were all lost or seriously mangled by the early believers, and all we have now are corrupt, unreliable copies.
This of course gives them the opportunity to "rescue" us by leading us back to the "original" teaching, which, BTW, they cannot document to exist. For example, best estimates for the alleged Hebrew copies of Matthew indicate they were all written well over a thousand years after the oldest Greek copies, and in some cases appear to have been written with deliberate intent to deflect Christian missions among the Jews of the diaspora.
As for alleging Luke or Acts to have been written originally in Hebrew, this reflects a laughable ignorance of the literary accomplishments of Doctor Luke, whose authorship presents some of the finest First Century Greek we have, and positively reflects a skilled Gentile thinking and writing in Greek. Not to mention he was writing specifically for a Gentile reader of Greek, one Theophilus.
There is much more to the HRM methodology. I'm out of time at the moment. Hopefully will provide more info later.
Peace,
SR
2. The one that is deluded is the one that believes that Yeshua gave a commandment to get rid of wealth.
Well; which is it?
Oh?
The apostles and elders, your brothers,
To the Gentile believers in Antioch, Syria and Cilicia:
Greetings.
24 We have heard that some went out from us without our authorization and disturbed you, troubling your minds by what they said. 25 So we all agreed to choose some men and send them to you with our dear friends Barnabas and Paul 26 men who have risked their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. 27 Therefore we are sending Judas and Silas to confirm by word of mouth what we are writing. 28 It seemed good to the Holy Spirit and to us not to burden you with anything beyond the following requirements: 29 You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things.
Farewell.
Snippet? Sure...
And you 'know' this how?
