Religion Forum threads labeled Caucus
Caucus threads are closed to any poster who is not currently and actively a member of the caucus group. For instance, if it says Catholic Caucus and you are not currently, actively Catholic, then do not post to the thread.
However, if the poster of the caucus invites you, I will not boot you from the thread.
The caucus article and posts must not compare beliefs or speak in behalf of a belief outside the caucus.
There is little to no tolerance for non-members of a caucus coming onto the caucus thread to challenge whether or not it should be a caucus. Gross disruption usually follows.
If you question whether the article is appropriate for a caucus designation, send me a Freepmail. I'll get to it as soon as I can.
Yes you can grow the Church that way. But why stop there? Add free drugs grow it even bigger.
We can, but it is the wrong path to follow. Evil is always evil.
One can only believe this if they don't believe there is a God running things. Scripture teaches us that the Church will always be at odds with and hated by the world. It further teaches that no matter how ascendent the world becomes there will always be a remnant. God is in control so preach the Gospel and let the chips fall where they may.
Bump.
Excellent discourse.
If salt loses its saltiness, it is to be thrown on the road and trampled upon.
It’s not like this is a rhetorical question; there is some empirical evidence. There are churches that have embraced the liberal/progressive stance over the last 100 years. Are those churches growing or shrinking?
Good article. I’m surprised authors on this subject never mention 1 Thess 4:1-8. This passage refers to sexual purity as a commandment, our sanctification, etc, and says whoever reject this (commandment) rejects God.
