Predestination
AND
Free Will

Men seem to want to choose one or the other...

I'll throw this into the mix.

I don't believe in total predestination, neither do I believe that such a thing as *free will* exists either.

It is God's will that all men believe and come to repentance. Scripture says it in so many words.

What I think is that men are offered is a choice. God draws and enlightens men, opens their eyes to see their need and then leaves it to them.

I think it's a matter of God clearing the fog at least once in every person's life and giving him a choice.

So the work is God's in drawing, convicting of sin, righteousness and judgment, saving, sealing, sanctifying, etc.

Sorry if this is not very coherent. Been a long weekend and it's morning.
