>>In short, there are reasons to wonder if the Jesus, son of Mary that Muslims revere is the same Jesus that Christians revere.

He’s not. There is no reason to wonder. They say that he is not the Son of God because Allah does not need a son. He is not a part of the Trinity because that is a pagan blasphemy. To them, he is a prophet, the greatest until Mohamed, and he will return one day to PUNISH the Christians for worshiping him as a God.

No. Their Jesus is the opposite of our Jesus. You could call him the Anti-Jesus perhaps.

It matters not what a Death Cult names a building. It is still a Death Cult and will be judged not on the names it uses but on the deaths it brings to the world.

What they name it and what they preach in it are two totally different things.

I’m curious as to why the Muslims would want to name a mosque after Jesus, who rejected Allah and Islam (see Matthew 4:1-11).

there are reasons to wonder if the Jesus, son of Mary that Muslims revere is the same Jesus that Christians revere.

Lots of reasons:

1. The Muslim Jesus is the son of Mary but is not the son of God, he's just a prophet, a man.
2. The Muslim Jesus did not die on the cross, but was miraculously switched with Judas at the last moment.
3. The Muslim Jesus did not rise from the dead.
4. From points 2 and 3 above, we can conclude that Muslim Jesus did not save anybody from their sins.
5. The Muslim Jesus will come back at the End Times, as a lieutenant of the Imam Mahdi and will order Christians to destroy all crosses, worship Allah and the Mahdi, be the Mahdi's right hand man in searching out and killing Jews.

This is just from the top of my head, but I dare say it should be enough!

“....immigrant Muslims are just like immigrant Catholics of a hundred years ago.”

.
NO, THEY’RE NOT!!!

Immigrant Catholics would not have cheered the events that took place on 9/11/2001 like an overwhelming number of muzzies did.

They should have torn it down rather than made a profit from the jihadi cult.

muhammad taught it was required to blood sacrifice any soul who believed the message that Jesus ended blood sacrifice, being the last sacrificial Lamb. Connecting Jesus’ name with a religion of blood is just appauling but not unexpected from the Devil.

he Jesus of the Koran is nothing more than a disembodied voice. There is no information about where he lived or when he carried out his ministry or who his disciples were. In short, there is no attempt to portray him as recognizable human being. Judging by the cursory attention given to Jesus in the Koran, Muhammad seems to have had little interest in him as a person.

Nevertheless, Muhammad couldn’t afford to leave Jesus out of the picture. Why? Because if Christ is who Christians say he is, then there is no need for another prophet and another revelation. In other words, the claims made by Jesus of Nazareth, if true, would have put a major crimp in Muhammad’s prophetic career. Muhammad’s solution to this problem was to include Jesus in the Koran and recast him as a messenger, rather than as the Messiah, understood as the Son of God.

The reason Jesus is so frequently referred to as “son of Mary” in the Koran is to reinforce the point that he is not the Son of God. Likewise, whenever Jesus appears in the Koran or whenever he is mentioned by Allah, it is almost always for the purpose of denying his divinity. Take Chapter 5, verses 113 to 117. It is one of the few places in the Koran where the narrative about Jesus rises (well, almost) to the level of a scene:
