The whole lesson is to look at yourself first before you judge.
NO It’s Not!
1 Cor 5:11But now I am writing to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of brother if he is guilty of sexual immorality or greed, or is an idolater, reviler, drunkard, or swindlernot even to eat with such a one. 12 For what have I to do with judging outsiders? Is it not those inside the church2 whom you are to judge? 13 God judges those outside. Purge the evil person from among you.
IMHO people say we are not to judge just to shut us down. They will say just calling a sin sin we are judging. I think that is not judging but calling an immoral behavior what it is. I can't condemn anyone, which in my mind is part of what judging is.
As a sinner I cannot condemn another person's sin. However, as a sinner I cannot condone another person's sin either.
I can only reject practicing, non-repentant sinners and their sinful acts and accept struggling, repentant sinners like myself but not accept their sins nor expect them to accept my sinful acts but accept me as a repentant sinner.
Christ told those without sin to cast the first stone at the prostitute. When none could, he then told the prostitute to go and sin no more. He did not say go and be a good whore.
His example was one of accepting the repentant sinner but rejecting the sin.
