Rare picture of the moderator at work, preventing a flamewar:
LOL
Hey you are obviously protestant with an anti-catholic bias.
Who do we complain about when the moderator is anti-catholic?
That is pitiful...The moderator(s) does an excellent job here on the Religion forum...I have no idea whether the moderator is Protestant or Catholic...That's how neutral he/she is...Perhaps you should get your blanky and take a nap...
To: Religion ModeratorProbably the owner, Jim Robinson. I pinged him for you. He's usually pretty busy, but may wish to address your concerns.Hey you are obviously protestant with an anti-catholic bias.
Who do we complain about when the moderator is anti-catholic?
This is so typical. I have never even seen you on the RM in my close to a decade of activity and thousands of posts, and likely to be ignorant of the rules, but what i have seen is that RCs are by far the most touchy and reactionary to anything that impugn their church, or what seem to be "unfair" treatment, and in essence demand special treatment for Rome. Their devotion to a particular church as the one true one is such that they take anything that slights it as a personal attack, and engage in such against Prots.
Who do we complain about when the moderator is anti-catholic?
The same way you complain about when you think the moderator is pro-catholic. You don't, as it is most likely your own biased judgment.
I have had RCs enage in personal attacks, and charge me and another Prot. with fabrication and even after documenting it was true, they received no citation or warning. Did i whine about some pro-Catholic mod? No.
He should not even be bothered by this, and instead RCs should be glad he allows them to use FR as RC news and apologetics service, as they are the ones using it for their elitist church far far far more than anyone else (even if a lurker is ignorant of it) , yet the most prolific complainers about "unfair" treatment in their intolerance of reproof (which is part of the elitist Roman authority mentality).
The mods here are the best i have experienced, and i am sure it is hard, and hard to please all. But like the officials in sports, they are MVPS. Be appreciative and tolerant of what you think is unfair, as this site is not Catholic answers (banned).
No wonder it is rare!
Very good points, Daniel!
After pushing the post button, I wished I had just told the complainer he could address a post with his complaint to Jim Robinson, instead of pinging the owner myself.
Oh well...
Oh and yes, the mods seem quite fair in their dealings with posters, especially IMO the Religion Moderator.
I happen to agree with the ones you posted. They make sense.
If a Catholic, lay or cleric, goes against these Canon laws, WHY does that person still consider him/herself a Catholic? As Catholics shouldn't we believe the whole package, NOT simply the ones we LIKE?
The world is full of people who are Laodicean about their faith and morals. Our faith doesn't work that way!
We’ll to tell you what buddy or buddette
I didn’t ask you and could care less about your opinion.
Interesting it is now you Synchro and the other anti-catholic bigots who are left posting to each other.
High fives all around for killing another thread.
Didn’t get an answer to that last question.
Oh, you poor people. Threads are started by Catholics critical of and in some cases hateful to Protestants and then get their feelings hurt when everyone do not agree with their views. If I were someone seeking how to become a Christian, I would be tempted to run away as far as possible after reading the hatred shown by some Catholics towards other Christians. Reminds me of the fighting going on in Northern Ireland. What are they really fighting about? Do they even remember? Some of my ancestors came from Ireland and I really hope they were not from there.
That seems to be your answer to anyone who has a different viewpoint.
I must say I am impressed at your spelling skills; powers of observation...not so much...
Actually it is anti CatholiCISM to be more precise.
It's not bigotry to expose un-Biblical teachings. (Praying to Mary, etc.)[It Glorifies God!]
I rather enjoy debating with Catholics about their belief system/denomination.
Where do you get the idea that Catholic pray to Mary?
Not so.
We ask HER to pray for us.
Mary’s last words in the Bible: “Do whatever he tells you.” She always glorifies her Son, Jesus Christ.
“Paul was Evangelizing and his target audience were Gentiles, who were PAGAN.”
Some time, Google “catholic pagan origins”. Just for fun.
Religion Moderator:
Do you currently or have you ever posted in the the religion forum under another name or names other than a ‘Religion Moderator’???
A simple yes or no will be sufficient.
Religion Moderator
Again the Question is simple:
Do you currently or have you ever posted on the Religion forum under another name??
And I think we need to kick this up a notch or two.
