We thank you for the picture of Spring, which gives hope during a harsh, cold of winter, when life seems to have perished. But Spring eventually comes and brings forth a rebirth a life, seemingly from death - a picture of a time when You will make all things new again and raise us from the dead.
Teach us, Lord, to adjust to the changing seasons according to Your plan. Likewise, give us patience during the seasons when nothing seems to happen, but You are still at work.
May Your Spirit work in the hearts of believers in our nation to bring forth fruit. May in due season there is a revival and another Great Awakening.
We ask for divine protection of our heroes, home and abroad, who give some stability in a chaotic work and enable the Gospel to be spread. Bless all these brave men and women in your special care.
In Jesus Name we pray,
Amen
I join in prayer for our heroes and nation!
Joining you in prayers for our military and our nation.
Amen.
Joining you and FReepers in praying for our Nation and our Armed Forces!
Praying with you for Our American Heroes and for Our Nation.
Joining all in prayer for our brave heroes and this great nation.
Praying with you for our Heroes and for America.
Blessings, etabeta
I know well the power of a mother’s prayer. In the 1960s I was a lost man. Yet my dear Catholic mom prayed unceasingly for me. Finally, divine power, uniquely released through her prayers began to track me until, in 1970 during the Jesus Movement, I came to Christ. Decades later I asked the Lord about this revival. My assignment was to help engender unity and prayer in the church, things which precede revival. Yet, seemingly neither preceded the Jesus Movement. Lord, I asked, how could revival occur without a prayer movement? The Lord said that there was a great prayer movement. He had answered the prayers of a million praying mothers crying out for their children. . . Francis Frangipane Ministries
Joining my heart with many a praying mother, (and father) for our beloved Heroes on the field, off the field, at home, abroad, whatever their season of service. In JESUS NAME..Amen.
Lord, You are God, who made heaven and earth and the sea, and all that is in them, who by the mouth of Your servant David have said:
Why did the nations rage,
And the people plot vain things?
The kings of the earth took their stand,
And the rulers were gathered together
Against the Lord and against His Christ.
For truly against Your holy Servant Jesus, whom You anointed, both Herod and Pontius Pilate, with the Gentiles and the people of Israel, were gathered together to do whatever Your hand and Your purpose determined before to be done. Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.
And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

May there be a healing of the great splits in the Church (Catholic, various Protestants and evangelicals) as we look to Jesus.
And may our prayers and repentance lead to a Great Awakening.
Blessings, Hiskid, for your prayers for the nations - quoting parts of Psalm 2. May the godless nations turn to Jesus our Savior.
Interesting note, I read Bill O’Reilly’s book - Killing Jesus. At the end, he and his co-author trace the history of what happened to some of the players in the Passion.
Pontius Pilate, some sources say, came to a bad end - falling from the grace of Rome, forced to commit suicide. But one source says, Pontius Pilate and his wife Claudia later converted to Christianity and were martyred. Would not that be wonderful if he and his wife did believe in Jesus - like St. Paul?
