Congratulations to Michael Voris: He is now thinking like Mark Shea
THE TENTH CRUSADE ^ | 3/19/14 | THE TENTH CRUSADE

How's this for irony - while Mike has finally won the admiration of Mark Sheat, the Vortex trilogy has given Shea the ammunition to call faithful Catholics (including yours truly) Francis haters, insane reactionaries and kooks committing mortal sins against charity. (I am not sending traffic to his blog so he can earn money off of his post)

By refusing to distinguish sedevacanists from honorable and faithful Catholics, that is quite a service Mike has done for faithful Catholics.

Oh well. No good deed goes unpunished.

I watched the last Vortex which suggested that we all act like nothing is wrong in the public square and privately send our Holy Father a letter explaining to him what the Catholic religion is and how his contradictions are affecting our family members, community and the culture.

Michael Voris is a great spokesman for the Church. The Catholic Church needs more like him. God bless him for speaking the truth, no matter how many people dislike hearing the truth.

When we debated back in October, one of the things I noticed about him was that he quietly and adamantly refused to attack Pope Francis (and that in a roomful of guys who showed no hesitation about registering their… disquiet… about the Holy Father). It impressed me then. It impresses me even more now. Why?

Because since that time, the Reactionary freakoutery about Francis has, if anything, only gotten worse, with nutjobs speculating that he is the false prophet of Revelation and people courting schism (all of them, of course, “faithful Catholics” who are waaaaaay better Catholics then the low caste slobs who go to the OF and need to be kicked out of the Church in order to maintain purity of essence). The Perfecti seem to be coming to the conclusion that they must destroy the Church in order to save it. And as they do they, with the cannibalistic instinct that always seem to come to the fore when Puritans begin a purge, have decided to begin by devouring anybody who thinks the Pope is, you know, the Vicar of Christ and our spiritual father.

God bless him for speaking the truth, no matter how many people dislike hearing the truth.

People dislike the fact that he's decided to stick to a circumscribed version of the truth as it pertains to the Holy Father, and his torturously irrational reasoning in support of same.

...please don’t post anything else that Mark Shea says...the man is really a protestant (with a small p) who happens to be in love with a weekly Eucharist...in short, the verbal trappings of separated brethren with the remnant of celebratory trappings of the TLM, thus to combine the two ends into a ceremony of his own devise and liking...plus, he cannot, or better still, will not distinguish between Traditionalists and true whackjobs...he is nauseating...

...now, let’s see if the moderator of this religious forum will allow this comment, or if it shall be deemed ‘ad hominem’...

Well then here is Michael Voris’ words from his own website.
I don’t particularly like Mark Shea myself.

Funny, I see just the opposite.

That patheos blogger you linked calumniates Catholics who are legitimately concerned about the state of the Church. His type of vitriol is likely to cause further erosion of the CMTV customer base. Contrast his polemics with the charitable and dignified response by those who were victims of CMTV’s fragging, such as Michael Matt, a true Christian and a gentleman.

Like the dancing bishops, performing a song called “Francis”, choreographed by “Fly”.
