A Gary, Ind., mother of three claims demons caused her 12-year-old daughter to levitate and her 9-year-old son to walk on a hospital ceiling accounts supported by medical personnel and police officials, according to a shocking report. For Latoya Ammons, the late night footsteps, the creaking of a door and wet footprints left by a shadowy male figure through her living room were merely child's play when that was all her family had to endure. But then things turned violent.

LOL! Not something I'd do to save a buck. Did he eat dinner at the table?
so what %% of the uninformed are aware that the excorsist was based on a true story?
It takes more superstition to believe in metaphysical naturalism (which is essentially what contemporary science accepts as true without fully examining it in a larger context) than it does to believe the boy walked up the wall.

Really? You have the ability to quantify superstition obectively such that you can determine which takes more?
Do share the calculus, please.
The worlds full of unbelieving blowhards demanding show me the evidence .

You mean like the creationists in the creationism/evolution debate.
The creationists will not be happy you are calling them blowhards.
As for cell phones being whipped out automatically: it is just as likely that they were too shocked to move. I would have been.
There's not enough evidence for me to make a judgment. To dismiss eyewitness testimony of two professionals out of hand, however, hints of bias.
10-40 Window is a term becoming widespread not only in Christian missiology across denominations, but also in aid/developments circles and in the secular press.
I thought we had a once/month quota here for a poster’s use of the word ‘dispositive’. You’ve used it at least twice. :<)
:o)
Quota.
Well, you can choose to dismiss the Bible if you like, of course. Personally, I believe it.
Christ spent a lot of his ministry casting out demons, yet today even Christians find the idea hard to believe.
There are priests and ministers out there either downplaying stories like this, or trying to say its bunk altogether.
Im not even sure I want to open this link...and not due to its ability/inability to work correctly.

I’m with you. This stuff scares the bejapers out of me.
Well said.
But prepare for incoming; the Catholic haters have been summoned, I see.
LOL Im not even going to try. We are going to see more of this however. Its going to get scary for those not in Christ.
I did not know that the Bible had a story about an EBT card carrying mother and her two offspring floating in air and walking on the ceiling. Gee I must have missed that one. For those who want to attack me, Savages all.
Just because someone saw this happen, I believe they saw it. It doesn’t have to mean I have to believe it happened, only that they say they saw it..I Don’t believe it.
“As for cell phones being whipped out automatically: it is just as likely that they were too shocked to move. I would have been.”
Either way, it’s quite convenient that nobody thought to take a video, since that allows everyone to speculate as to what happened without a chance that their speculation can be disproved.
“To dismiss eyewitness testimony of two professionals out of hand, however, hints of bias.”
I didn’t say anything about their testimony, you did. Don’t try to tell me I’m biased because of something I didn’t say.
Got a guy like that at my work. He doesn’t work in the office, but he stops by every day, after lunch time, and if anyone ordered pizza or something, he will go in the kitchen, grab some, and then say (with a mouthful of food already) “I’m going to have some of this, okay?”
But... he does bring us a lot of fresh food from his place in the country in the summer, so we can’t say anything to him about his mooching.
You are ridiculous and deserve any and all “attacks.”
