Great article about those “mega-pastors” who want to create people who are “narcissistic, biblically illiterate, and theologically confused.” LOL
Does this section include the "right perspective" for Mrs. Osteen's temper tantrum in first class on a flight to Aspen that got her kicked off the plane? How dare they make her late to the ski slopes?
Like most mega-churches, this one is a sham that dupes well-intentioned people into donating to support the minister's affluent lifestyle.
It's fleecing the flock in the name of God.

Which is exactly the way half the Independent churches in this country present the doctrine of "Faith Alone", not really anything all that different.
Where are all the Joel Osteen apologists at? The poster who posts the daily Osteen email does not want debate on his posts. I guess that bunch likes the prosperity/feel good gospel but not enough to debate it.
Only amazing? Not awesome or unbelievable?
When I think of a saint, I think of Fr. Damien who went to live with the Hawaiian lepers, caring for them, burying them and eventually dying with them.
Joel Osteen doesn’t immediately come to mind.
