So I guess another Liberal Protestant is a heretic who does not believe in theNicene creed:
who for us men, and for our salvation, came down from heaven, and was incarnate by the Holy Ghost of the Virgin Mary, and was made man;
Or the Lutheran Church version of the Apostles Creed:
And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary,

Liberal women generally don’t have much respect for virginity or motherhood.

I'm probably wrong, but I believe that the Apostle's Creed is the "Min Spec" to be a Christian. In that Christians believe in many different things, but you have to believe the Apostle's Creed to be a Christian.
Therefore if you don't believe in virgin birth, then you are not a Christian. What is so crazy is that with current technology, you can have a virgin birth today; so how hard would that be for God to perform.

Two gospels use the virgin birth as their first argument that Jesus is God. Why trust anything in any Gospel if the got the basics wrong?

Gustavus Augustus is now spinning at a high RPM, but that is what modern situational religion gets you. If it feels good, then it must be Godly and may the gods be with you!

Obviously does not believe the genesis account either
"And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel." Genesis 3:15.
In the Old Testament linage is under the male line, but here it talks about "her offspring". We take this to mean the seed of Mary (Christ), Mary being the Woman, and Christ's victory over Satan (the Serpent).
Perhaps this theologian also doesn't believe in hell either? And not far behind, a dismissal of the problem of Sin too?

Belief in the Virgin Birth an optional extra, new Swedish archbishop declares (Church of Sweden) Reminds me of the late, great comedian Flip Wilson's "Church of What's Happening Now". So-called clergy and denominations these days seem to believe that THEY know better. I think they may be in for a shock.

The Church of Sweden is so liberal--read "apostate"--it makes the ELCA almost seem Lutheran.
