There is an incredible story in Fort Worth, TX. A crazed man attempted an armed robbery at a local McDonalds restaurant, but when he tried to shoot his gun, it failed. He went outside and successfully fired into the air. When he went back into the store, the gun failed again. Did a prayer from the mother of the suspect prevent a massacre?
When Jestin Anthony Joseph walked into a McDonalds and asked for a cup of water, thats not all he was after.
Fort Worth police say surveillance video shows Joseph pulling the trigger at least five times while pointing it at individuals inside the restaurant but the gun wouldnt fire.

Thank Heavens for a Mc Misfire
Mom was confused. Joseph wasn’t suicidal, he was homicidal.
Well I guess this mother’s prayers were some how more potent that the prayers of countless other individuals in murder & multiple murder scenes.
McCCW should have eliminated the second chance.

No. Her’s was just answered. The fact that 100% of prayers don’t stop 100% of shooters does not diminish the power of this one miracle.
Yep. Nobody’s gonna tell me that prayer doesn’t work. Maybe not always in the way we’d prefer....
Her prayers were strong enough to overcome the anti-gunners prayers for “yet another mass shooting” to subjugate law abiding citizens who haven’t (yet) committed a crime. [Unless you are in kalifornia where the laws change so often you never know if you’re breaking one or not. Apparently now my wife’s Ruger 10/22 is illegal. WTF? Guess we ain’t crossing the border.]
Too bad it wasn’t a case of the hammer falling on an empty cylinder and the surprised perp looking down the barrel and pulling the trigger again.
No.
Poor weapons maintenance happened.
God was surely in control of this incident as he is surely in control of all incidents and we might not ever know why it pleases him for some to die, even to be tortured and die as in Kenya, and others to live. These things may be challenges to faith, but for those who believe all things work for the glory of God. It is good to seek justice, but, we should remember that God is all just. “Give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.”
I’m boycotting them they won’t let me take my gun in! All gun owners should too.
I dug out some old .357 magnum ammo a few years ago that I had sitting in an ammo box for ten years more and took it to the range for practice.
A few of the rounds I had to drop the hammer on three times before it fired.
I dont eat at McDonalds because the food is lousy.
But the gun ban is a good reason too.
**Did a prayer from the mother of the suspect prevent a massacre?**
Probably, but God knows for sure!
Possibly, it is always good to give G-d all the glory and praise. His miracles are abundant.
However, methinks poor weapons maintenance is the actual answer.

If you were God, would you pay more attention to people who never had a conversation with You before they got into danger and then scream, "Oh, God! Save me!", or to a woman who prays every day and has done so for years?
Just sayin'.
I once heard a WWII vets testimony. He was flying a fighter in bomber escort. The mission was completed and he was free to engage targets of opportunity on his return. He came low over a hill and was looking straight into an anti-aircraft gun pointed at him.
He pulled his trigger and the aircraft’s guns didn’t fire. He believed he was a goner and gave thanks to God for getting through it. His guns did fire later in the mission.
He was able to return to Europe many years later and was giving his witness at a church near where that incident occurred. After the service a man approached him to tell him that he was the young man attending that anti-aircraft gun and that he thought he was a goner as his gun malfunctioned at the same time only to work fine later.
Beck is always so sensational, but still and all, great story! All moms should be praying for their kids whether they are suicidal, homicidal, or straight A stable students. God bless this young man’s mother. (And I pray her son gets the help he needs.)
