What’s wrong with killing an individual chicken by cutting its neck with a sharp knife or whacking its head off with an ax than putting it upside down in a metal tube on an assembly line with thousands of other chickens to have their heads cut off mechanically? Which is less cruel or more cruel?
I agree with that.
The swinging it over your head three times before the kill, however, is gratuitously cruel IMO.
They are both efficient and humane.
Though the process done manually is more humane and less efficient.
I got no problem with either and if the consumer understood what happens to meat that is harvested in an inhumane manner they would agree.
In fact, I think it would be an object lesson to place to identical pieces of meat, processed, prepared and cooked in identical manners.
They will understand what the animal goes through when they bite the meat that was not harvested properly. Sucks, both in flavor, texture and one’s rightness for respecting life.
Beheading chickens—bad.
Beheading PEOPLE by Muslims- ‘cultural diversity.’
Well, one is taxed, while the other is not.
The non-taxed version must, of course be stopped.
