Note that you said Macc. wasn't in the Bible, yet it was clearly in the King James Version Bible first edition -- kind of makes light of Rev 22:19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

But it was never in the Hebrew scriptures, which is why the Protestants correctly took it out.

I’m not going to convince you of this point, nor are you going to convince me. So I am not going to consider arguments based on Maccabees.

How would that make light of the verse from Revelation? Was Maccabees ever included as part of the “scroll of prophecy” that was delivered to John which we know as Revelation?
