There is little doubt of the faith of this man and his family.
I was shocked Discovery actually played his audio.
Jesus protects fools?
Meanwhile, posters at ESPN were making fun of the Texas Rangers and the St. Louis Cardinals for refusing to play in the rain. There WAS a lot of lightning around, though...
I’d like to see a muslim do that.
The lesson to be learned: Don’t try this on your own.
Wow, his grandfather died in Puerto Rico crossing a wire at the age of 73.
73!!
Here’s more on the family.

I do not question the faith of Nik; however, the presence of one false teacher Joel Olsteen was quite a statement to me personally. In listening to the words of Nik as he crossed the wire, it was clear that he is caught up in some false teaching, apparently the “word of faith” teachings from which Joel Olsteen was reared under his father John. Nik, Joel, nor any other man has authority over the wind, or any other elements of nature in the name of Jesus. God alone has reserved that power for himself. As much as men so desire and act the role of a being a little god; God has not invested man with such authority.
Perfect example of religious narcissism.
Not sure Jesus would have answered:
Luke 4:9
The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. If you are the Son of God, he said, throw yourself down from here. 10For it is written:
He will command his angels concerning you
to guard you carefully;
11they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.d
12Jesus answered, It is said: Do not put the Lord your God to the test.e
What I like best about Nik is his lack of costuming. Anybody that can go do amazing stuff in genes and a t-shirt is OK in my book.
You have to have a lot of faith to do what he did. Great outcome but as a Jew. I was comfortable that Nik was a faithful man but it became too much for me at one point of hearing too many Jesus references. But Thank God he got accross safely.
Outstanding.
If this brings more people to the Lord, then so be it.
Crazy stunt though and potentially very risky for his family, but who am I to judge.
I get in trouble with the boss for not wearing protection with the leaf blower.
But for the Osteen bit, I’m glad he made it.
A family dedicated to risking death and often getting their wish. Sorry, but I think they are idiots.
Amen!!
When he prayed for Jesus and God to give him the inner strength and calmness to complete his task I was with him all the way. When he prayed for them to stop the wind from blowing, not so much.
