Today is my “rant” day.
I am royally PO’ed about the Boy Scouts selling out.
I did not expect it. All my life the Boy Scouts has been special, and above all the other politics all around.
Today that changed. Today I am royally PO’ed.
And a bit fired up. Tomorrow I will move on.
And the Boy Scouts will begin to really, really shrink.
I will not help them now.
If there is a break in the organization with some retaining the old rules, I may help that group.
Lots of things can happen, and there are quite a lot of people out here today just like me. Moreso, because I am just incidentally impacted anymore.
But today is primarily for ranting.

As I wrote above, the Boy Scouts will not really shrink, as you wrote. They will become the youth movement of the Progressives because they symbolize tradition in the public eye. Turning the organization into a haven for homosexuals is simply a means to the end of driving away the conservatives who would have prevented the left from coopting the organization. It will flourish as never before, but not in the aces or with the people who populate it today. It will be the Young Pioneers.
2012 and the nomination of Mitt Romney who ran on homosexualizing the military and Boy Scout leadership, signaled that there is no longer a party to support the Boy Scouts.
It is hard for such a national organization to face rejection by both parties and to be told that they are left holding the bag, that they join the libertarian trend or become politically and financially isolated and slowly strangled as just another “hate” organization bucking libertarianism and the ending of a common moral structure.
They fill a good neighborhood with section 8 housing and soon, the urban flight begins. They takeover a local government and enact their madness and soon, the productive, voting base of their political opposition flee.
Now, we see this same flight at the state level, or even multi-state regions, such as the entire NE being progressive, where only a generation or two before states like Vermont were solidly Republican and now are progressive playgrounds. Same for California and potentially now Colorado.
Now it has happened to the BSA and good people will fee and leave it to those who changed it.
I think Third Secret of Fatima was not heeded either and has come to pass.
