Please pray for my dad, Jerry, age 100, and the repose of his soul. He died at 9:15 this morning.

His body was giving out on him, but his mind was still sharp as a tack. We always played cards with him when I visited him.

Used to be pinochle, then it turned to canasta.

Well I will ask his intercession for my daughter and her husband who are starting a milking operation in rural Otsego County NY. The Chobani yogurt success has created a market for milk in upstate NY - who would have thought. They got married last June and Molly is expecting on June 6th. So I am asking prayers for this young couple as well.

Crossing The Bar

Sunset and evening star. And one clear call for me! And may there be no moaning of the bar when I put out to sea. But such a tide as moving seems asleep too full for sound and foam. When that which drew from out the boundless deep turns again home.
