Umm, the State did and was overturned by a FEDERAL court, lol. What next Einstein? The US Constitution is way deep-down and entrenched into the rabbit hole already eroding States' Rights for decades on end.
Should the States (In this case the people of California who wanted Prop 8) just give up because a DISTRICT Federal Court overturned Cali's 10th Amendment rights? Not sure what you are implying because the reality of the situation is not "hitting" you yet.
Right now Prop 8 has been overturned by the FEDS in the 9th, where is your Federalism that you claim exist?

Again, I ask the same question as I have asked others...
Will you be better off when SCOTUS is forced to get involved, and render a judgement which is in favor of homosexual marriage? IOW a state issue then becomes a national issue with every state following the SCOTUS decision.
