Chanuka is a celebration of the victory of God’s people over pagans who were oppressing the Jews and desecrating the house of the Lord. Even though this occurred long before Jesus, why shouldn’t a Christian celebrate this event?

One of my beloved father’s last Christmas gifts to me (I’m catholic) was a Hanukah candelbra, candles and prayers. I love him for that, it reminds me of my roots.

He has only been Pope for a couple hours and all you can do is spread venom.

I won’t be visiting anymore of your threads, it would be a pure waste of my time.
